Looks like you can pre-order the magazine from their website, but for 5.17 GBP for postage to the UK, I think i'd rather walk into town and buy it when it comes out. 5pounds for postage, thats criminal. :(

All good newsagents in the UK seem to sell NME, I'm not sure whereabouts you can get it from if you aren't in the UK though.

If you PM me closer to the time, I'll see if I can buy a few extra copies and pass them on at cost price.

Yeah, it looks that way. I think this serves as official confirmation of the new coldplay website, given the paint backgrounds match the single artwork as well.

Come on Prospekt, just tell give us some more info on the album artwork and the new website, you know you want to! ;)

I think Friday now for the Prospekt post just revealing all about the album or Coldplay are going to confirm it!

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply to this post but i've been away from a scanning machine. I see there is more news about 'Violet Hill' on the website now. Anyway i am the Max who met Chris at the cinema and i just thought i would post the autograph so you can believe this conversation did happen. If it turns out it doesn't come out in three weeks i'm sorry but Chris definitely said download only to me. Anyway attached is the lovely autograph he signed for me on an unused ticket.

whoa, so it was real

It seems that with the news of the NME vinyl the download only went out the window (thanks Chris) however the three weeks bit was correct for the vinyl, does seem odd that the 7" news isn't on nme.com though. I'm sure the XFM news will be something like a very small intimate gig somewhere in London town.

I know this is a really obvious thing to say but he was really really nice and was like "nice to meet you max" and everything. He is very personal though his band have millions of fans. It's funny by the comment i made i didn't want to stir things up i just said what Chris said to me lol. I'm sure there are plenty of conversations between band/record label/management and stuff and things like this get changed etc. It was great meeting him though, i've already met Jonny (when i worked in Habitat tottenham court road) so it's two down, two to go lol.

I know it's weird because i've been a Coldplay from 13 years old (i'm now 21, 22 in June) and you want to express the joy of their music over all those years though you know really you've got time for one question, and suddenly just before meeting him what is gonna be the first viva la vida single going to be. He clocked me as a big fan when i knew Violet Hill was third from last on the album lol.
