I guess Harry's code of only killing the really bad people has exceptions like if somebody makes a rude comment about your dead wife, it's perfectly human to beat them to death with a ninja weapon in order to vent your frustations.

It seems like they keep re doing the same jokes and they always start the first episode with a shocking hook up of characters.

Am I the only one finding 5x01 a little dull??! To me it's a 'transition' episode, necessary to move on but overall a bit :shrug: Waiting for more on next episode!

It was definitely transitional but what was most important about it was how it showed Dexter's process of coping and him finally starting to let the emotions he didn't realize he had out. I thought they portrayed it beautifully. Absolutely loved the scene in the gas station bathroom.
