I think it's because the festivals are in full-swing, and the album is closer. It's a not-so-fun way of teasing, without actually teasing.

If you didn't watch Coldplay's terrific iTunes Festival show in London a couple of weeks ago, then you may be interested to know that it's still available to watch on your computer via iTunes - by clicking here - or on the iTunes Festival app for iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch (find it in the App Store).

 

The show will only be available for a limited time, so it's best to get in there while you can...

New album title and artwork revealed

 

 

Mylo Xyloto was produced by Markus Dravs, Daniel Green and Rik Simpson with enoxification and additional composition by Brian Eno. The album will be released in digital, CD and vinyl formats. A special limited edition Pop-Up Album version will also be available, which will include a 12" x 12" hardback book containing graffiti pop-up art designed by David A. Carter, vinyl, CD and exclusive content including photographs, excerpts from the studio diary and the band's personal notebooks.

 

The next single from the album is called Paradise. It's coming out on September 12.
