Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)

"Lunchtime" isn't exactly an exact time. Nor did they say if it was necessarily at the Beehive or Bakery or wherever.

They said that The Beehive was their rehearsal room. So they should be there, you can be 99% sure.

it is amazing to read the first reviews of Up In Flames and DLIBYH.

Can't wait to hear both!!! Actually, can't wait to hear the whole album!

Best roadie #42 blog in a long time!

This seriously made me feel more excited about MX even if I've heard most of the songs already. I really can't wait to see how this turns out! :)

I reckon that if PoC is on the album, DLIBYH or Up In Flames will follow it. Especially if DLIBYH really does mean Don't Let It Break Your Heart.

I think we've heard less a rounded group of the songs so far than we think...

Very brave of R42 by comparing Up In Flames with Fix You. He is setting the expectation bar very very very very high.

 R42 knows his stuff, though. I bet it's every bit as awesome as Fix You. I mean, going off of 'hypnotic in its simplicity, but devastatingly, achingly gorgeous' Up In Flames sounds like it's going to be MX's big one.

In fact, you all heard that here first. If UIF isn't still played at gigs five years from now, I'll eat my proverbial hat!

Yeah I know, but they still didn't say that's where they'd be.

Yep, I mean, it's got to be freaking amazing, since Fix You is probably the best Coldplay song ever. (or surely in the top 3).

The audience will decide that, and I find that very exciting! Matt McGinn wrote in his book that half of Coldplay's crew didn't like the song Viva la Vida at first. And this one will be played at gigs five years from now!

I really like the idea that nobody knows yet what their huge hit will be.

Up in Flames = See you soon 2.0?

my point exactly

I'd say it goes like this:

1) Clocks

2) Politik

3) Fix You or A Rush Of Blood To The Head

3) Politik

...

15) Fix You

A bit disappointing that he didn't talk about Paradise... maybe I should lower my expectations... ;)

amazing news really.

So exited

surprised DLIBYH is still there, it was only ever mentioned in that tweet!!! As long as Car Kids is on MX i'll be a happy man!

Great blog as usual. Ready to hear all these songs...not long to go now :)
