I'm actually desperate to hear the stuff, but that feeling of putting the CD in for the first time and just turning the volume all the way up. I've also stumbled upon some Radiohead which I think can hold me over. If anything what everyone is saying is making me want to wait even longer. That all these songs are apparantly as good as we hoped is incredibly satisfying. I'm eager to listen myself, but I think I can wait till the 17th. I think once I get past today and tomorrow I'll be fine without it. Not so much fine actually, as full of anticipation.

I just downloaded it and hella tempted to hear it! Damn temptation! :cry:

I'm with you. I can't wait for the album, but the satisfaction will be so much greater when I unwrap my album that I bought and waited for, and listen to my album. That will be so much better.

Could this possibly be the thread for the people who haven't heard it? Every single active thread right now is all about the new album.

Usually what I do with leaks depends on how much longer it is between the leak and the album's release, along with my interest in the band. I was bored today so I just gave in without thinking about it.

 

Had it leaked, like, this Sunday, I would have waited.

well thats ur choice, but music is music lol it'll still be just as special when i buy the album and pop it in and hear that CD quality music.

Oh, it is sooo dang hard to stare at a list of files that I could listen to with the click of a button, so easy, so smooth, so painless......

 

But I won't. I'm staying strong. Dang, it's hard though.

I am (still) resisting temptation and will have to wait TWO weeks till it gets released in Australia.......will I do it? lol I shall :smug: I can't wait to go to the record store and buy it, have it in my hands then run off like a little school girl to listen to it in my room :D I've not listened to any other songs besides VH and VLV only because the band have chosen to release those, so as for the rest, I have NO clue as to what they sound like and the unknown aspect is making me even MORE excited!

Yeah, it's going to be amazing, unwrapping the album, sliding the disc into my computer, turning out all the lights, kicking back in my hammock, and just listening to it for a couple hours straight. Ahhhh. Soon, so soon.
