lol i was fine with not hearing it yesterday morning.....then when i came on comp after school i saw they were showing it on myspace...temptation was too much :D i did last longer than alot of people though

that is an achievement, especially considering the downloading frenzy that occured that night lol, i'm surprised i didn't cave right there and then. yesterday was close too. i went as far as clicking the link to their myspace, even went onto kiss.fm, but figured i'd come this far, only a few more days to go :wacky:

didnt work.....i probs wouldnt have went through with it anyway.

@ Dejan - i believe that was aimed at the downloading of it due to the leak, not necessarily the steaming on their site since, well of course, coldplay have endorsed that so that wouldn't be disrespectful or unfaithful.

Have a pure coldplay cd mix on in the car with every album and b-side on up to now, it's on shuffle as well so it won't get tiring!

 

For my birthday on thursday a friend from the cpmb sent me a link to the leak as a present, but i didn't click!!

I'm even avoiding the myspace streaming so when it arrives in my hands i can cherish the moment of the first play on thursday.

 

I love the anticipation and build-up almost as much as the moment that it's first heard by my ears.

I almost gave in, then realised I didn't have a myspace account anymore, and I am not re-registering, I hate myspace!!! So will wait patiently until saturday 14th, as that is when I get back off my holidays, It'll give me good reason to want to come back home as it will be on my door mat waiting, I hope!!!!

I kind of wish I waited now. It's not that it's a bad album, I liked the excitment and anticipation, now I have nothing to look foward to for a while, they're not coming to Va any time soon.

Plus I have to feign surprise when my friend and I have a listening party/movie/guitar hero marathon on the 17th. :laugh3:

I'm waiting too. I really wish I hadn't heard either Violet Hill or Viva La Vida before the release either. They're so good, it would have been amazing to hear them for the first time with the rest of the album.

I'm still fighting hard. I don't know if I can wait for the US release. Question, if I pre-ordered the album on Itunes, and live in the United States, do I still have to wait until the US release date or does Itunes release it a bit earlier?
