i respect your opinion but i don't agree with you on 42 :shocked2: 42 is the best song on the album! My favourites are 42, Lovers In Japan, Death and All His Friends :D

For me Strawberry Swing makes the entire album, followed by Cemeteries of London and Violet Hill. Beautiful songs :)

LOL post of the thread. Welcome to 5 hours ago junior. Just kidding dude. Yea the album leaked. There aren't any links here but you can find em on other messageboards. Probably torrents too.

I'm surprised that so many people are naming Reign of Love as one of their least favorites. I thought it was so pretty and sweet, and a good break from the heaviness of songs like 42 and Yes. That said, the only other words I have to describe this album are:

I did not know such incredible music could even exist.

What influences do you see in the new album?

 

So far I've found the new album to wear its influences much more clearly on its sleeve than any of their previous works.

 

What does everyone think? What have you spotted? What's particularly struck you?

 

Just for starters from me, Chinese Sleep Chant sounds so much like My Bloody Valentine and some other classic indie bands they could probably sue. But...I'd never want them to...because I absolutely love it!! :)
