everytime I've listened to any of the songs, was when listening to the album in its' entirety. It all flows well.

I think that the people who are hating the album need to do that, yes this is different than all their other albums but it also reminds me of Parachutes in a way. And besides, what good is an album you've already heard (as in it not sounding like the others)?

However, I remember in an interview once I think Jonny said that all their songs are like cousins in that they are sorta related somehow.

 

For instance: X&Y and The World Turned Upside Down.

Talk and Ladder to the Sun. etc.

 

So maybe theyre different songs but just related lyrically or the like. Spose we'll either find out or never know.

I just notice that on the Safety EP, they have a song called, "No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground" which the title is close to "Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground".

Exactly. It's a really, really lovely song. And it's the perfect breath of fresh-air in the middle of an album with lots of sounds.

it's ok... but it's not great great. I mean, Reign of Love is no 42 or Yes! which by the way has the be the sexiest song ever! i can't say that enough.

my least favorites are reign of love and escapist, but they're ok anyway I don't skip them... the other ones are excellent! it's gonna be one of my favorite albums, if not my favorite album ever

'reign of love' reminds me of 'til kingdom come' and 'life is for living'

it sounds like a hymn.

 

i think it would be more successful as its own track...

or at the end of the album.

Overall, X&Y is still my favourite, AROBTTH is still my second favourite and Parachutes is still my least favourite. Having said that, it's still a bloody brilliant album anyhow!

Well just listened to the new album a couple times, its pretty good.

I hope theres more double versions of the songs, for example Lost? (acoustic) and Lost! (album version). I like them both in different ways.

I can see how some people might prefer Lost? over the album version. I love the beat but the piano was really beautiful.

 

Chinese and Cemeteries are both definite growers, but Reign of Love still leaves me a little bored. Not sure I would've put it on the album.

I feel like Viva la Vida is out of place. I'm not sure why, but it just does for some reason.

for me reign of love should not have been in the album

for me lovers have similiraties in the beggining with still havent found. but the rest of the song its mind blowing and the piano riff its awesome.

Cemeteries of London: 9,5 - amazing guitar and chorus and outro!!!

Lost!: 9,5 - dreaming sound and loving lyrics!

42: 10 - original song and very touching lyrics it's at first nostalgic and then so catchy... their best song ever!!!

Lovers in Japan: 9 - too many instuments on it, but it'll perfect as single!

Reign of love: 7 - sweet but not powerful like the other ones

Yes: 9 - intriguing violin and voice

Chinese sleep chant: 9,5 - ipnotic and magic track!

Viva la vida: 10 - still brilliant since first listen

Violet hill: 8 - not the best but still great

Strawberry swing: 10 - this song is perfect in everthing! just makes me smile

Death and all his friends: 9,5 - with the chorus it's much better than I thought
