Chelsea are falling. Out of the cup, flailing around in the Premier League. If they don't get into the CL next year then it could be critical. I'm not saying it's going to be as deadly when Leeds failed to get to the CL a few years ago, when their financial future relied on a place in the CL, but it could be nearly as disastrous.

It will be if Abramovich gets fed up and bales. Without his dosh, Chelski would be right down the toilet.

And wasn't it hilarious that the two biggest a*holes in the Chelski team missed the penalties! Justice most definitely done there!:laugh3:

From what I saw, Drogba played like a tw*t too.

Chelsea will suffer once Abramovich stops financing them. It happened with some brazilian clubs in the 90s and 00s.

Palmeiras: won a Libertadores Cup and a Brazilian Cup while financed by Parmalat. They got relegated for the first time after Parmalat stopped financing them and their last trophy was 12 years ago.

Grêmio: won a Brazilian Cup while financed by ISL. After ISL went bankrupted, they got relegated for the second time and their last trophy was 10 years ago.

Corinthians: won a stolen Brazilian Championship in 2005 while financed by MSI. Got relegated for the first time in 2007, the same year MSI stopped financing them.

Changing the subject: Nice one, Leyton!

2nd time they lost to a 2nd league team oh Arsenal...

Stop the press! Don't worry! They didn't lose. But drawing at Leyton Orient ain't that much better! But hey that's football. One day you're beating one of footballs finest sides in history and the next you're drawing with teams two divisions below you!

Oops my mistake! I revoke my statement :P

Yes, football is crazy, it's always topsy turvy!

Just yesterday Scahlke lost to Borussia Moenchen gladbach(18 place)!

Blackpool away when you're a big name. Ain't much tougher tests in the Premier League is there. Tottenham will be very disappointed though.

I don't get it.

When Arsenal draws at a League One club, no biggie, 'cause they just beat Barcelona.

When Tottenham loses, who cares if they just beat Milan away, "the Spuds crop has failed yet again!".

Alright, you dislike Tottenham, I get it, and you're entitled to your opinion. But please, be fair, don't let your opinion influence your judgement.

It's just a bit of harmless "Spud-bashing", that's all!:P

The fact of the matter is that Spurs have a habit of shooting themselves in the foot just when they seem to be getting somewhere, and that's exactly what happened against Blackpool.

With all due respect to Blackpool (and fair play to them), Spurs shouldn't be losing 3-1 to a side like that if they want to be regarded as a "big" team.

That's what it all boils down to.

Admittedly Arsenal caved in against West Ham the other week, but they at least had the excuse of only having ten men when this happened.;)

I'm pretty sure they would have won the match if they hadn't been a player short.
