February 5, 201214 yr Is it just me or has Ferdinand been useless for many years? Almost back to when he was first signed it has always been a noted point when he put in a good or even decent performance, almost like it's a surprise when he doesn't fuck everything up with his aimless wandering among the back line. He is good on the ball, he's a decent tackler, sometimes brilliant (Rare- and when it happens it gets highlighted more then any other defender), but I've never understood why he was ever rated so highly.

I don't know how well they would do at the Euros compared to the old guard, but the important thing is that a level of competitiveness among players results in better performances, and for too long the team has individual players who are assured of being in the starting 11, so they have been less then passionate.
February 5, 201214 yr He's been overrated by the Utd fans at work for quite a while now, only injuries have relented the constant slagging off. I fear that if he becomes England's centre back during the group stages, the country's squad will be watching the Q/F's back home on telly!
