Bradley Walsh, who was dreadful during his time on the pitch.:dozey:

He's 50 and busted his lungs to play for charity, I agree, we should shun him.

The play overall was horrible, from the outset, poor passing, no movement, etc. etc. But who cares? The performance of any of the players doesn't really matter, and only an idiot would start judging them.

It was pretty surreal. Jamie Theakston was excellent.

Yes, and Jonathan Wilkes made some good tackles too.;)

Well he clearly shouldn't have been on the pitch - it was embarrassing.:dozey:

He made some good saves, but I thought you "didn't care"?

He played at the same level as the Asian guy from Heroes, Joe Calzaghe, Robbie Williams, Ricky Hatton and Woody Harrelson, all of them played badly for one reason or another, like I was saying that wasn't the point of the match. Celebrities who can't play football and in some cases don't care about football did it to raise money for charity, to turn around and start negatively judging them and calling them embarrassing is such a dickheaded thing to do. You're unbelievable, anyone with an ounce of sensitivity would just go "Ahh ole Bradley, he did what he could" instead of being a total knob.

Oh by the way I can't stand Bradley Walsh, but that's besides the point.

Apart from the penalty he gave away, Robbie Williams did OK, and so did most of the others. Bradley looked totally out of his depth, though, whether you like him or not.:dozey:

If you had da smawtz you'd have realised that my point had nothing to do with Bradley's performance, it was the fact that he put himself out there in the first place.

Nevermind.

Well I don't see how he deserves credit for that, seeing as there are countless celebs who would have willingly taken his place if it had been on offer.................. :dozey:

He almost died for charity!
He almost died for charity!

Well that's still got to be better than "dying" on Coronation Street!:P

Finally you acknowledge the point! It's like punching sense into a fucking brick wall. Here we go...

Firstly, seeing as people like Damian Lewis and James Kyson Lee got the call, clearly there weren't tons of celebrities tripping over themselves to get involved.

Secondly, and most importantly, that doesn't even matter if other celebs had taken it! Bradley got the call, they say "We have this charity event and we believe that your presence as a celebrity will bring in more donations" and Bradley thinks "I'm too old for football, I can't play football, but I'm very well known to ****s who watch soaps and gameshows, and I'll get involved if they think I can bring in more donations".

It's that simple, it doesn't matter whether or not he thought other celebs could have taken it, they asked him, he was told he was needed, and he half killed himself to raise donations. To be so negative about his performance makes you a fucking dick.

The celebrities I mentioned earlier weren't there to make for a great competitive game, as Jonathan Wilkes for example was only there because he's a good footballer who happens to be a minor celebrity (He certainly wouldn't be there if it was just for his celebrity status). The aforementioned other players were there because they are celebrities, and their presence was all that mattered to bring in donations, not their performances.

In which case you might as well have had Jordan, Lady Gargoyle and somebody from X Factor on the pitch.:dozey:

The fact is, the vast majority of the celebs either played well or didn't embarrass themselves.

Bradley Walsh was one of the exceptions.

.

Like Olly Murs?

Its not about playing well! I actually think its nice to see that celebrities who cant play football still agreed to to take part.

Also I think Jonathan Wilkes was only there because he's one of Robbie Williams's best friends.

Like Olly Murs?

Well he actually gave a good account of himself too, as he had once played football at a reasonably high level. I was thinking more of someone like Alexandra Burke or Leona.:P

As it happens, Stacey and JLS took part in a celebrity tournament at Charlton's ground on Bank Holiday Monday. Bet that was a hoot......................

Also I think Jonathan Wilkes was only there because he's one of Robbie Williams's best friends.

I agree, but as I said, he can actually play a bit, as he proved on the night, so I reckon his selection was justified.;)

Robbie's not bad himself, either, as it happens.

Eek I did that thing again where I tried to understand how your mind works.

*Shudders* It's worst when I almost begin to understand

At work I saw a kid wearing a new england revolution jersey. It kinda made my day as there are probably several hundred times more Man U/Real Madrid jerseys being worn in the U.S. than all the MLS supporters combined.

I am appreciated about it. I am glad that from 11th June FIFA world cup will be start and the 48 teams has been participated in it. I will really enjoy it.

There's 32 teams present, not 48.
