nice one! is there alot of artwork in the vinyl?

theres a 12' x 12' booklet, about 10 pages or so..its the same as the cd booklet only bigger!!

the vinyl version is gorgeous tho...very good quality packaging!

I'll check if I can buy it somewhere online.

 

okay here i am! I've avoided all leaks, streams, lakes and rivers of the album, have just literally listened to it in full for the first time and i absolutely and unaquivocavly love it!

 

Incredible album, incredible band!

 

I went out this morning and bought the album from asda £7 - the lady said i was the first of the day from the store!

 

I also have another 2 coming from cdwow.com the "gatefold version" whatever that is and the normal version, which is i think another version of the one i got this morning. Anyhoo, for those (if there are indeed any!) that are undecided - i really believe that you won't be disappointed.

 

It is a truly cinematic kaleidoscope of sound - amazing! :)

you got that the wrong way round...the one youre holding is the gatefold version....the OTHER one is the normal version, which is in the normal plastic jewel case!

This is such a great idea! Unfortunately I won't have mine until the 17th... but I will be sure to take it to various local landmarks and document those occasions.... like at the BEACH! :D

i even went into target and best buy today, hoping that some lowly worker had effed up and put it on the shelves, but sadly, they were all doing their jobs properly. i did spend a minute or two admiring the VLVOD poster they had up in target, though...

 

alas, not even a rolling stone with chris on it was in sight. i BETTER find one tomorrow, dammit!

 

i'm getting mine probably on the 18th or 19th, while i'm on vacation, so i'll post a picture of it from the beach! :D
