She was so sweet, she gave me a copy of a couple of pictures from Today show she printed just for me. And she bought me a beer, even though I told her I was gonna buy her one! (she just texted me she just got home, I told her to hurry up and come on here!)

He has his eyes closed when he sings and then when he's banging away I think he wasn't looking in my direction. But I know Chris saw it, 'cause he came down Guy's ramp a lot, and you know, we have an eye connection thing now hehehe. And I think Guy saw it too, I mean, he was looking straiht at audience, I was right there, a few rows away, holding this clear sign way up in his line of sight. But I think he doesn't really like the whole audiecne interaction thing like Chris, u know. Chris will purposely sticks his face in the audience and make weird faces. AHHHHHHHHH!!! I wish I was there!! To have Chris see and let you know he saw it, words cant even describe it!!!

I was 21 the very first time I went to a show LOL Hahaha... yeah, I was her +1 for the Today Show, and it was definitely the best experience of my life. :) I really hope some day in the not-too-distant future all us NY-area Coldplayers can meet up and go to a show together! How amazing would that be? Ohh def. one day! We'd need to organize a bus to take us wherever, and we could have a whole coldplaying.com section!! LOL Ok, let me take a breath here guys and try to settle down, before I start crying again (did Mel tell you I called her right after show, 'cause i was to jittery to text, and started telling her what happened and started breaking down on the phone!?? We i mean me and my husband were near to the place where they play scientist.We saw the black thing kept there when we entered only and i saw Chris while coming during that time he saw me and my husband getting ready to see them when they come there and then i'll show the video too when i upload it,He waved right at me and saw me while speaking,well he was joking a lot.First he said looking in my direction well straight at me he waved,thanks everybody.:) And also they played my favorite song Reign of love here in my state New Jersey awesome.I never expected it.I was filming Politik and it came next, i am damn happy. October 28, 200817 yr I just got home from the most awesome concert I've been to so far! It was just, wow, fantasticular. Got there around 5:30, saw a couple people who I thought to be Sean and Christa, but was too shy to say hello. Sean then came over to where I was to sit on the grass with his cute little brother lol So I said hello, probably scared the kid lol The concert, I really can't describe it in so many words. It was just spectacular. The crowd was amazing, the orbs were better than I expected, and my seat was perfect enough for me. I was on the right side, Guy's side, and where the guys came to rock out. I went down my section for that one since they were right in front of me and the whole time I'm just thinking "Omg, this is the closest I've ever been to Chris, Guy, Will and Jonny, ahhh!" I managed to sneak in my camera, though from the looks of it the security would've let any type of camera in, there was hardly any checking! Unfortunately my camera sucks and I just kept getting blurry pics, which pissed me off since the guys were quite close! Ummm what else?? Oh yes, I believe Christa? or Noelia? or both had a bit of Chris' attention; he was saying how there were some lovely banners tonight and they really had some awesome seats right next to the right runway. Hmmm..The Scientist was hilarious, well, not the song, but before the guys started the song. Chris said something like "Wait a minute, it smells up here. I think I smell the ganja back here. I'm pretty sure that's illegal under the Bush administration." Then he also joked about how the next song they were going to sing were by The Jonas Brothers called The Scientist lol Chris put a little Billy Ray Cyrus "Achy Breaky Heart" in the song. Everyone was just really into the music tonight. Lovers In Japan was great! Ahh the butterflies!!! So many! At the end of the concert I made sure to go down nearer to the floor, and asked some fans to please pick some up for me. Ugh there were soo many of them just scattered on the floor and all I kept thinking of was how you Coldplayers would've appreciated them all, picked up a whole bunch, and maybe share it with the confetti exchange lol After I got my butterflies from a helpful man, a girl god bless her, took a pic of me with the VIVA in the background and my night was complete! I tried to ask for a setlist but they said there were no more, so I hope one of you girls got it! Awesome night! I only regret not helping out with the sign gang, sorry guys! I definitely will next time!
October 28, 200817 yr Heh... when I'm a teacher in a few years, I plan to instill in my young students a healthy (or unhealthy ;)) love of Coldplay. Perhaps we'll be seeing some more 1st and 2nd graders at Coldplay shows in the future! :P

October 28, 200817 yr OK guys-- I'm home, and I'm not going to post a full review or photos tonight (will do tomorrow-- promise) but i just want to give a brief overview of who I am and what tonight was like. So yeah, I'm from NYC, I've been a Coldplay fan since the AROBTTH days, and tonight was my third time seeing them live (Twisted Logic Tour, Izod Center, 3/25/06, Viva La Vida Tour, TD Banknorth Garden, Boston, 8/4/08). I have been checking reading this site, and lurking on the forums religiously for about a year now, and finally decided to get around to setting up an account during the Today Show special performance contest. I know I don't post a lot, but I read pretty much all the threads, and am a HUGE fan, so that is my intro. Now on to tonight. As I said, I'm not writing a full review, but after the show, comparing it to Boston on this tour, I think that while both were utterly astounding and near-perfect, Coldplay are tired, as they are reaching the end of this tour, and it shows. I think that the energy level and enthusiasm shared by both the band and the audience was noticeably higher, but at the same time, Coldplay are always awesome live, and to anyone who hadn't been to a show on this tour before (my friend that I went with) this would have been a jaw-dropping experience. I wouldn't say the guys played any better, but the place just erupted much more often and louder right from the start. Highlights: Chris played Reign of Love "dreaming....of the Barak Obama sun...." He dedicated The Hardest Part to Jennifer Hudson. Unbelievably wonderful of him When he was in the upper section before the Scientist, Chris said, "I think I smell a bit of the ganga up here". It was hilarious! He said he didn't think it was legal under the Bush administration but we'll see what happens when McCain or Obama is elected. The Hardest Part was better tonight, or maybe my seat was better, but it was really nice and so was the piano piece after it (can't remember the name) No Gwyneth tonight. Instead Christy Turlington and Ed Burns I agree with Roadie 42, Yellow has a new life to it and it shows. The guys seem to love it all over again. My seats were sick! I was right by Guy's side of the stage, just at the top of his ramp, first row. I had a bird's eye view of Guy the whole night and well, a lot of Chris because he tends to favor that side in these latest shows. Chris and Guy would genuinly look into the crowd at faces. I was screaming "hi Chris" "hi Guy" at the top of my lungs and waving! It's incredible to see the guys up that close while they perform, especially Chris. I could also see right down into the roadie pit. I saw all the usual suspects and saw the guy's guitars up close while they were being put away in the cases after each song was over. I got several pictures I will try to upload tomorrow. And at the very end, that sweet older roadie that looks a bit like Jerry Garcia gave me a set list AND a stinking pick, right off one of the guitars!!!!!!!!! Amazing night! I couldn't love the guys any more. Their music ignites me, inspires me and just plain makes me happy!

Setlist was exactly like last night, except for Reign of Love at the end of Politik. (I'm reading back pages here to see what I missed while I was at the show LOL. And now I'm getting excited all over again!)
