A little bit disappointed with Glass of Water after falling in love with the (kindly aggregated by I-forget-who-sorry) live version, so it's Rainy Day for me.

 

Now i'm most anticipating Poppy Fields.

this is my order too :D. LIT2 all the way. it knocked my socks off, and it was even more epic because i wasn't expecting it to. i didn't think lyrics would add THAT much to the song and i didn't think LIT could get any better, but i don't know if i've ever been so wrong. i explode a little every time i hear it.

 

and i like the live version of glass of water much better, too. chris's vocal seemed to have much more force and energy, and the first bit with the verse was almost too slow on the EP version, IMO. i still love it though :D

 

the completely unheard one that i'm most looking forward to now is definitely "now my feet won't touch the ground," because that line appears in arguably my two favorite VLVOD-era songs ("strawberry swing" and "LIT2"), and i've always had a rather disproportionate love for the song "no more keeping my feet on the ground" from the old days. i think its title gives it high promise for being completely epic in my book :D.

 

and nick, how did you miss the release dates?! :lol: it's out in the US on november 25th, but it will almost definitely leak around the 20th or so when the first countries get it :dance:

I´d say Prospekt´s March could be the best Coldplay song they ever wrote.

The lyrics are awesome! And the melody.... a little like Fix you in my opinion.

Life in Technicolor reminds me of U2... but the lyrics are great... a lot better than LIT 1 !

Rainy Day is a quite happy song for sure, makes me feel better :)

And Glass of Water is really cool, but I can´t compare it with the other three songs, because I´ve listened so many times to it already.

I'm one of the few who voted for Glass of Water.

Holy moly, this ep looks to have as much worth as Viva la Vida. Life in Technicolor is amazzzzinnngggg, Rainy Day sound alot like the song Viva la Vida, Glass of Water reminds me of talk (i don't know why) but I've listened to the live one so much I already love it. Yet to here the rest, shake the glass goddamit!

 

Edit: Just youtube'd the last song. Prospekt is quite Fix Youy or Amsterdamy, looks like the 'Tear in Jerk'r' for these Viva la Vida sessions.

I have a feeling Famous Old Painters will be on their next album. My thought is that they knew adding this song to this round would stack it with "too much greatness" and they are holding it over to have a great foundation for the next album.

Prospekts March is cool, and reminds me of a Dont Panic or The Scientist among others, but I think the full version will take a turn into something else about halfway - 3/4 of the way through the song. There is suppose to be a "violectra" in their at some point which we don't hear. I think this will end up being a "Fix You" type song.

Yeah, I don't get why everyone dislikes it... It's not what I expected, but I love it.

I chose rainy day as my new fav coldplay song! The others were amazing as well....I just love the "violectra" in rainy day! BEAUTIFUL!

I Love them all but I love LITii soooo much I played the snippet 200 times today and nearly cried everytime!

LIT2 is the new soundtrack of my life. It's so incredible, I cried when I first heard it!! :wacky:

 

After that, I like Rainy Day, and then GOW and PM are tied...

Sorry I can't choose, even though I think i voted for LiT ii yesterday, so I guess I'll go with that one, but I think my least fav out of the 4 is GOW.

i like rainy day best. i just love the part where chris sings over the strings. i think LiTii sounds GOOD but i really dont understand why everyone is like going WILD over it. idk i just dont see whats sooo amazing about it. hopefully when i hear the full version i'll get it?
