Besides lot of other things, Coldplay costs lots of time :D

I have spent a grand total of, drum roll please:drummer:, one dollar! Yes I have been a very bad Coldplay fan and only spent one dollar toward them which actually makes me very sad. I spent this one dollar on Parachutes when my local music store had a clearance sale and I brought home a bunch of different CDs on sale for one dollar of which only Parachutes turned out to be any good and transformed me into a massive Coldplay fan. The rest of their music has come to me courtesy of my local library and therefore has come at no cost to me, but I do plan on buying tickets to their next concert near me and a bunch of the aforementioned overpriced swag so I don't feel too bad.

4 CDs, live 2003 DVD, 4 extra VLVs for friends/family, VLV vinyl, Prospekt's March, VH vinyl+mag, probably like 7-10 mags (some old ones from ebay), 6 concerts plus airfare to get there, a 7th free concert but with last minute plane ticket, 2 shirts, 2 posters, some singles, 7 guitar tab/ piano sheet music books, 3 tour programs, 3 crappy unauthorized DVD documentaries bought online, Chris Martin bracelets :D, new camera to make better videos :lol:, banners, Ho shoes, new acoustic guitar to play their songs, gosh I don't think I can add all this up. But it's in the thousands of dollars. :dizzy2:

I used to try and enter contests on the old official board and Debs would send me emails telling me I couldn't because the contest were only open to UK residents due to the fact that "no one's going to travel all the way to the UK just for a concert". Oh Debs! You don't know me at all. :laugh3:

And to answer the thread question:

I have spent about $2500.00 between tickets (only bought one at face value. The rest I paid alot through a third party to get good seats--and I bought tickets for my Dad and Uncle in 2006). Hotel in NYC, CD's, 1 tour program...I don't have too much memorabilia.

 

I wanted to see them in London at Wembley but I don't think I'll be making it. The economy has affected me slightly and I think I need to save now. I still want to go to London regardless of seeing a gig or not so maybe in two years or so. :)
