"New bit" is the first thing I noticed...The Oracle has said previously that it has a release date, and yet they're still writing for it?! I really hope it's not an EMI imposed release date and they're rushing to get it finished...

I think you guys are going a bit too crazy about this. Just cause they´re writing a new song doesnt mean that they´ll put these songs in the next album. Take Cartoon Hearts for exemple, we´ve known its existance since very early from the Viva Era...

Maybe is Chris is talking about it Live. Like he is going to add something on the end of the song like at the end of the live versions White Shadows. Have an eye out on Thursday, if they are practicing it now it'd make sense they want to play it live at Venice.

About the "new bit" part, I doubt they're still in the recording stages, but even if they are, they could be putting one or two new small things on and still have it out for the "towards the autumn" timeframe we've been told. But I agree with something someone said above about it probably having to do with a live adaptation of it rather than something entirely new to record.

It is sad he had to justify what most of us on here understood as a legal sample from the movie/song. Some people on here shit on him for stealing the chords, when he had every knowledge of it, AND had permission.
