August 10, 200916 yr We tried to enjoy ourselves. We went to the venue and sweet talked the parking/security guard into letting us go in the venue to take pics and we wanted to see the inside layout . The pit was set up with folding chairs. It was good size but not huge like at Home Depot Center in Los Angeles. Then we went to Chilis for margaritas and boo hoo'd at 9:00. And it was a beautiful night here, too. No rain today or tonight, but it aS freaking hot today. Hi Dianne, did you guys take some pictures? Please post them here. How was the stage set up? Is the pit big enough to fit 1400 people confortably? Thanks.

My flight back to CA is this afternoon,so I'll post my pictures tomorrow. The stage was empty and the chairs may have been set up for the next show. I'm stlill so sad and really hope it is rescheduled and not cancelled. The security guard said there were a lot of people showing up who had not heard about the postponement and as we were leaving, a big hummer limo was just turning in. I didn't envy him his job!

August 10, 200916 yr Hmm... so no news yet this morning? :( What are the chances that if they go back home for that leg of the tour that they'll come back to do just one show? I'm not really familiar with large concerts.. lol They won't come back for 1 show, wouldn't be in their best interests, but if a Latin American tour gets added to the bill after Wembly, they could possibly stop off here in Tampa before or after The latin Tour.

I hope they went to the beach, that's what I did yesterday :P I think they should have had Roadie#42 post something like "We are here is sunny Florida with all the gear, just in case":D. And I thought Anchorman would have updated us by now...I hope we get some sort of update soon..

August 10, 200916 yr Live Nation isn't showing the Tampa concert at all now. I haven't checked, but I think tickets could probably be bought pretty cheaply in the resale market but I'm worried about buying tix there. If the show is canceled, the refunds would go to the original ticket holders. I'm waiting to find out about the reschedule date along with everyone else because I definitely want to go! We'd make out like bandits if they reschedule during the winter when Florida is a haven for the winter-weary. It would also give enough time to get the best priced airfare. So far, they have said "postponement" not "cancelation" so there is every reason to expect a new date.
