Oxfam America
Hey Coldplayers- Just a quick note to thank all of you who have signed up to volunteer at upcoming Coldplay shows in the US! To quickly answer some of the questions I've seen on this thread: -Yes, you'll get to see the show for free! You'll interact with other Coldplay fans up until a few minutes before the show, then you'll get to enjoy the concert. Just before it ends, you'll meet back up with all the other volunteers to reach-out to folks as they leave the building. -Pete won't be traveling on this tour for us, but Soha will! You may have read her blogs after she covered for Pete on the last few dates of the last US leg. She's very cool, super smart, lots of fun, and actually came to Oxfam America as a Coldplay fan at a concert in LA! She'll be blogging away, just as Pete did, so I hope you'll all follow her travels around the country with the band. -As far as age requirements go, you should be 18 or older, unless you'll have a family member who is 18+ volunteering with you. -To stay up to date with Oxfam America on Facebook, join us here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Oxfam-America/15041226930 -To follow us on Twitter, go to: http://www.twitter.com/oxfamamerica -There are still a few slots left at most shows, so if you are interested, please sign up at: http://www.oxfamamerica.org/concerts And finally, a big thank you and shout-out to the good people who run and moderate Coldplaying.com for all the help and support! It's very much appreciated! Thanks,

JustSpies84
Have those who already signed up been notified as to whether or not they have a spot? I've been notified. I'm volunteering for the first show of the tour (May 15) and about two weeks ago, I was notified. After you're notified though, you have to confirm that you will be able to volunteer at a certain time. I confirmed about two weeks ago, and yesterday I got an e-mail from my team leader telling me what to expect, with more details to follow. It was a list of what not to do, what to wear, not to bring a friend, there will be seating for volunteers, how to get to the venue, etc... I'm thinking that people get notified about a month before the actual gig they offered to volunteer for, so if you applied for a spot later on in the summer, you'll get confirmation closer to the date of the actual show. zaccor
I got notified today that I was selected for the East Troy show on July 25! Really excited, and yeah do you think we could possibly, maybe, potentially meet the band? I know it's a long shot but that would be really cool. Anyone else going?
