August 2, 200916 yr Hey all, I'm heading out to the festival tomorrow as well, got a vip tix for cheap luckily, I'll need it as i am currently working ovenight, and will probably sleep until 2 or so and then head out to the festival. I got a roundtrip ferry ticket, as I live in Manhattan, and don't have a car. Does anyone know where exactly the ferry for the festival leaves from? They say battery park pier, but there are a lot of ferries that leave from there. thanks, and looking forward to hearing glass of water, and doubt I'll hear Reign of Love (doh!). Would love to meet up with any other coldplaying members in the vip bleachers... would have done general admission but will be way too exhausted to work my way up to the front thru the day (although I've done it many times for Coachella and V Festival).

You are lucky to get a cheap ticket. I don't think it's going to happen for me since I don't live in the city. Some guy on LI was expecting like $250 for his Platinum VIP ticket and I don't want to blow that much money. Don't know how many of us are VIPs, if any. It said Castle Clinton on the webpage so that's where the Statue of Liberty ferries usually leave from. I guess they got a bigger place after last year's disaster at Pier 11.
