April 22, 200917 yr Daniel is a pretty name.. but the only bad thing is that is so common.. so many names have become so common..
April 22, 200917 yr ^ Yeah, kinda. :\ What's frustrating is why people get so mad at people for trying to make names up sometimes. Why name your kid some name that 10 million people already have, you know? Although in the case of Daniel, it has a nice meaning behind it, so I could totally understand that.
April 22, 200917 yr I know a lady that name her kid Cin but pronounced zin.. but I would prefer Daniel that some really ugly name..
April 22, 200917 yr Like La-a? Seriously, this one lady named her daughter La-a. (Pronounced Ladasha). Stuff like that is over-the-top, methinks...
April 22, 200917 yr Like La-a? Seriously, this one lady named her daughter La-a. (Pronounced Ladasha). Stuff like that is over-the-top, methinks... pretty weird that :uhoh: and legaly that's possible? here there's a town known for their rare names (all the habitants have visigotic* names (like ethelberg, alaric...). * not sure about the word spelling. here there was a case of a family that named their son francisco and shorten it Kaku, they wanted to changed it to be their legal name, and they couldn't they had to search that Kaku is a name in Japan so they could change the kid name. btw aren't we going a bit off-topic :uhoh:
April 22, 200917 yr Apparently it is legal, because she did. And we're still talking about naming babies, so we're not completely off-topic, no. :P
April 22, 200917 yr La-a? well at least it's 3 letters haha I don't like long names either. I think it'll be easier once you know the sex of the baby though :idea2:
April 22, 200917 yr How about Nathan (for a boy) That'd be a bit like naming your child Lucifer or Damian!!:stunned:
April 22, 200917 yr Go with Alexis if it's a girl. Then she can go by Lexi or Lex or Lex Luthor or something later.

April 22, 200917 yr To everyone who suggested James, nice choice! and to anyone who thinks, "Well, that your name so you're obviously going to say that" remember, I did not have any input in what my name was, so it might not have been my favourite name. I tried to get involved in the naming process, but my parents didn't agree with "GahGah"

April 23, 200917 yr I love the name James. Also Joseph, Ben, Richard, and Max... My favorite boy name will always be Jack, though, but maybe you don't want to name your kid after yourself. :nice: As for girls, I have a new niece today, and her name is Sofia Amelie. I think that's a cute name.
