June 26, 200916 yr Author I don't condone OR not condone the wearing of ANYTHING; I definitely don't condone, however, people being FORCED to wear things. Certainly most women wearing burqas are being pressured to but keeping them from wearing burqas is NOT going to fix the problem of radical Islam or generally get anything done at all. It's only going to make people angrier; and probably mean the women who would normally be wearing them will only have it worse off anyway. What needs to be done is for the original problem of the radical religious nuts themselves being taken care of -- banning the burqa will not fix a THING and will only make the radicals hate us more. Giving in to their extreme ways isn't going to help either. It certainly isn't going to lessen their hatred as extremists, because they've already made their minds up and nothing is going to change that. Extremists can't be negotiated with - that's the problem.;)

Not banning the burqa is not giving in to religious nutjobs. But making people not wear burqas is NOT, NOT NOT NOT NOT going to get rid of dominating assholse who marry people and make them have nine children!! IT'S JUST GOING TO MAKE IT SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO SEE THOSE PEOPLE ON THE STREET!! It's also quite obvious that extremists can't be negotiated with since you've been so steadfast in your intolerant babbling. BURN.

June 26, 200916 yr Author Mark, you're allowed to ban Burkas on your own property. Just nowhere else. I'll leave the governments to actually decide whether to ban them. That's their job.;)

June 26, 200916 yr Author Then again, banning burkhas (as you suggest) won't make them change their minds either. This isn't about trying to change their minds. The reasons for forbidding the total head coverings have all been stated.;)
