Beach or Pool?

Featured Replies

As I sit here waiting for the dozens of small children to leave the pool (after they've emptied their bladders and gotten skin cancer, of course), I ask you: which do you prefer? The Beach or the Pool?

My skin goes fucking crazy in salt water, so pool it is. I still like doing things AT the beach though.

I can't swim  :disappointed:

Really? Go in the shallow end and try the doggie paddle. That's how I learned. Of course I inhaled a large amount of chlorinated water, but I was young and naive.

I've tried that and ended up falling face first into the water, which ended in my getting saltwater up my nose, which stung like hell...

I've also tried the scared method bu jumping in the deep end of the pool and trying to swim to save myself...I nearly drowned...:\

1 - Lake

2 - River

3 - Beach

4 - Purpose built swimming pool

As a competitive pool-swimmer, I should say pools but beaches are much more interesting so I prefer them. I never get to go though, unfortunately.

Obviously beach. I like the sound of the sea and the mild wind.. :nice:

And the sun burns your back and face and you look as red as a tomatoe 2 hours later :cheesy:

:D It never happened to me. :P :D

You always smell so much of chlorine when you've been in a pool and it's really nasty to swallow the water.

There are good and bad things about both, but I still think I prefer a good sand beach. I live on a little island, so there are plenty.

I pick pool! I dont go in the ocean, Im pretty much afraid of it. Probably cause its tried to kill me multiple times!

Pool, theres too many things in the sand.
