It's leaked! :D,

And it includes the song 'Scars' which I know FOR CERTAIN was described as Coldplay's best ever song!, I remember reading it in an interview!

Enjoy!

Just found this article, it says that 'Scars' Is NOT on the album, but it IS!:

Do you want to hear the song Chris Martin described as the “best Coldplay song ever?” If so, you’re going to have to listen to Natalie Imbruglia sing it, along with two other tunes co-written by Coldplay from her forthcoming album Come To Life, dropping this fall.

The song Martin mentioned was supposedly called “Scars,” but—based on info released today—the tracks that Coldplay co-penned are called “Want,” “Fun,” and the Brian Eno-produced “Lukas.” Come To Life’s tracklist does include a song called “Scars,” however, which means someone (some kid on the Internet) is going to have to buy the album, read the liner notes, and listen to the whole thing to hear this epic Coldplay track.

Fear not, Coldplay fans, Martin says “she sounds f*cking brilliant on it.”

I don't quite understand this article....It implies that 'Scars' is a coldplay song but maybe not...Oo

I've listened to 'scars' and it's not 'epic'...but it's beautiful.

Well, I guess we have to wait to have the booklet to find out...

so which one´s is/are the coldplay related one´s? :)

Wait, what? Scars was co-written by Chris, too? Everyone's saying different things... I do like Scars, though. Very pretty song. Heartbreaking, too.

No. Like I said before, Scars can't be one of the songs written by Chris because it has been around since at least 2007. I know that for sure because she played it live once or twice when she was promoting the Best Of album that came out in 2007.

The tracks Chris wrote are Fun and Lukas, and he helped her with Want.

Well I guess we will not know anything until FEBRUARY 2010! Yep you read that right. That is the new release date for Natalie´s cd. Please someone tell me I am wrong...I think it would be unbelievably stupid for the record company to push the cd release so far in the future considering the album has already leaked!

No, Nov 6th in Germany:

Only .co.uk has that 2010 date.

That is weird however!

The Australian release is also going ahead. Think it's just UK and US that got moved to 2010.

Scars was written with her ex-husband, Daniel Johns *I think* I could be wrong, but I know it's not a Chris Martin track.

Waited so long to listen to the studio versions:

"Lukas" sounded more interesting in the live-version and her voice in studio is even more annoying! I want Chris to sing the song and Jonny, Guy and Will to play the instruments!

"Want" sounds like Texas and is boring, "Fun" is the only song out of the three that fits to Natalie.

"Scars" does not sound like Coldplay or Chris Martin to me....but I could be wrong.

Jonny, Guy and Will are playing the instruments on Lukas, the track was given to her without vocals.

Jonny, Guy and Will are playing the instruments on Lukas, the track was given to her without vocals.

Are you sure? Then it shouldn't be a problem for Chris to add the vocals - do it :whip: :D

Yeah, because Eno is a credit on her album for producing it :)

Jonny, Guy and Will are playing the instruments on Lukas, the track was given to her without vocals.

interesting!!

Just to make record straight, I read in an interview that Natalie was honoured to have Eno enlisted as one of the producers on her album, but by her account, Eno never did anything with her - she was alone with Chris in the studio when they did 'Lukas'. Of course I'm hoping that also means Coldplay did the music.

She said she was honored to have an Eno credit on her album, even though she had never worked with him.

The music on Lukas are all Jonny, Chris, Will and Guy, produced by Brian. Chris has two other writer credits.

Everytime I listen to Lukas I just imagine Chris.

Yeah, I like Lukas because I'm thinking of how cool it would be if Coldplay recorded it.

If I didn't know about the chris thing I most likely would of hated it...

Somebody has the booklet with all writing credits? How about want, fun and scars? Chris martin there too?

Natalie Imbruglia may quit singing after album flop

POP star Natalie Imbruglia says she may quit her singing career.

After her last album flopped, peaking at number 67 on the ARIA music charts, Imbruglia is taking time to re-evaluate life, saying you need the hide of a rhinoceros to work in the music industry, The Sunday Telegraph reported.

“I'm deciding how I feel. It's breathing space to figure out how I'll continue - or if I will continue. Oops! Did that slip out?'' said Imbruglia, who is now based in London. We will see. I've put everything on hold to do this show. I'll take time out to figure it out.''

Imbruglia's 1997 debut album Left of the Middle and subsequent singles sold more than 10 million copies and topped the Australian charts. She also had a worldwide hit with her debut single, Torn. But she has since struggled to mirror her early success. The 35-year-old star's career fell apart with the release of her latest album, Come To Life, last October. Though it featured tracks written by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, it failed to crack the top 50 and sold a meager 750 copies in its first week.

“I ended up going independent, getting finance and doing it my way,'' Imbruglia said. “It's really hard out there, there's not as much money in the industry. They don't want to pay for campaigns. There have definitely been frustrations trying to put records out and do it the way I want.''

Imbruglia, former star of TV soap opera Neighbors, will use her time as a mentor on the upcoming Australian version of TV talent show X Factor to plot a future path. “I'm loving doing the show, though. This is a dream job for me,'' she said.

Oh man.

It just wasn't promoted. The timing was wrong as well. She went on Rove when the album wasn't even out yet. The single hardly got any radio play.

Jeeeeeez, 750 copies ONLY in the first week? That's nasty.
