I will miss everthing, all the ups and downs.

This fricken sucks I will forever miss the Viva era

And for the poll I put feeling.

LONG LIVE COLDPLAY

Butterflies and outfits.

I won't miss Roadie #42 because he won't be going away!!! And if he does, then I will be very sad. But I doubt he will. Butterflies were amazing. Outfits were fantastic, still don't understand the media giving them flak about it (jealousy me thinks).

Knowing Coldplay though, there are better things to come!

The music obviously. Not like it is going anywhere though. :P

and them

But im SOOOO happy they get a long break now. They deserve it, they worked so hard for us! :nice:

Ooooh, I'm already missing the feeling!!!

Ok,..one word.

EVERYTHING! :bigcry:

This!

I'll never forget the gorgeous confetti butterflies during LIJ. There is a VERY embarrassing video of me going off like a total retard when they started raining down on me in Herning. So sad it's over!

:laugh3:

The butterflies are great, yes!

But who says they won't use them next era? They recycled the yellow balloons from the X&Y era. Be hopeful. :D

The music though. Even though the music lasts and the falling butterflies doesn't. The music is the most important thing I'll miss.

Mainly the theme, the butterflies and the outfits - all the other things expect for the puppets will come back anyway...no doubt!

However the whole concept of the album was so great, they did something noone else did at the time. No other music and no other theme came close to it, they could not have had a better idea for the album. Although I became a fan in the VLV era last year - I did not directly became a fan because of VlV (my first album was Parachutes) and I'm kinda proud of it. The concept of VLV was so much to the point that it even made Coldplay a bit too popular ... they really are the biggest existing band of the world right now.

And I will also miss the gorgeous album cover "La Liberté guidant le peuple" - what a statement!

I personally loved the uniforms because they suited all of them well and everytime I saw it, it was like a journey through time 150 years ago....that fitted to the music (especially "Violet hill"). And of course the Grammy appearance - they were in contrast to all the other music biz idiots and they demonstrated their entity as a band.

Not to forget the butterflies on Left right left right left and the confetti. LRLRL was such a nice gift of them, a highlight for every concertgoer- you really felt their appreciation every minute of the concert. I was too far away to catch butterfly confetti so I picked it up outside from the ground - for noone else I would do something like this, believe me : ) Now I have a nice picture of them on my wall with the ticket and butterflies all around them.

So sad that the era is over now and we will have to wait a very long time for a new era to come...

P.S. There is just one thing I won't miss - JayZ :-)

Summer 2008- MAN! What a great time for a Coldplayer! :)

I will miss EVERYTHING!

I loved the Viva era, though it wasn't my favorite album, but the butterflies, the outfits, the VIVA logo, and that feeling is priceless.

I'm hoping that the new era will be as good as the last one :)

*sniff* just *sniff* everything... *sniifff* the colours, and the butterflies... *sniff*

soooo beautiful.

Butterflies wont go... it will be just like the balloons on yellow... they wont go anywhere...

the ending of the touring, meaning no more opertunity to see them in person

i cant wait till their next tour

im going to miss the butterflies

im so glad i got the ones i did but i wish i got more cuz i kow ill never get another opertunity to get more of them

i clicked everything. i really like the outfits but i suppose after awhile i would just get annoyed at the outfits. altho i did bring my viva jacket to college :uhoh:

Oh god, I can't possibly choose just one of them. I'll miss everything about it.... ohhh  The whole military theme has come to embody them as a band and their music so much that I can't imagine them wearing "normal" clothes again on stage, you know? But I suppose we would get sick of them in the end.. plus, those jackets must stink to high heaven by now. :P And the butterfly confetti... I'd miss that so much if they don't keep it like they did with the X&Y yellow balls... it was so beautiful and yet I never got to stand under it in the two concerts I was at (or get any to take home.. stupid security guards at the barriers wouldn't let me through. oh well.). I really hope they keep the butterflies. I think most of all though I'll miss the overall feeling of this tour ... just the spirit of it all. It was so unique and arty and creative and joyful. Oh, I feel all emotional now.

I can't wait for the next album, the next Coldplay era... it's going to be a long wait, and I hope that the boys can make the next one as good as this, I'm not sure it can be topped but I have every belief that they will do something as good and the wait will be worth it. :)

A few things I won't miss, the main one being never receiving my promised copy of LRLRL when I leave the gig because there's never bloody anyone handing them out!!

Where you @ one of the Wembley gigs? Cause last night I had the exact same problem, there was no one handing them out anywhere! :\ Unfortunately I was caught in the rush of the crowd leaving as quickly as they could with my family so by the time I got outside I couldn't get back in because of security and I thought I wouldn't be able to get a copy.. but luckily after I went to the loo I got to the car and there was a copy in the car that someone had kindly given to my dad! Whoever you are lovely person, I am eternally grateful.

I can't contain myself.... they better make a new album by winter 2010...

I feel as though between winter 2010-summer 2011 would be the perfect time to release the next album but...

who knows.

The butterflies :bigcry: I know it's stupid, but it was just so beautiful during LiJ...

At least I have one bag of them for each show =)

They better come back with a nice idea to make us forget them !
