i agree im going to miss everything, there such a good band. i was very gratefull to go to two concerts in Dallas during the tour. I cant wait for the new album....but dont worry i bet LIJ, Strawberry Swing, VLV, and prolly LiTii will stay on the tour for the next album.....cheers to coldplay for an amazing tour.

I say the feeling is what I will miss most. The feeling the band, the music, the tour, the outfits, the butterflies, the roadie blog, and so forth brought to the fans.

I am going to miss the art and visuals of the Viva era. They also have never been closer to their fans, but I know this is a trend that will continue!

Yeah, except for ignoring all the people who had tickets to the Tampa show. They could have at least issued a band statement regarding the final cancellation of Tampa. All we got was a notification from livenation saying the postponed show was cancelled and the credit would be refunded. Something from the band would have taken some of the sting out of the final cancellation - instead of just blowing us all off.

 

I love the band, have been a fan for years, and still am a huge fan, but even if they just issued a "hey, we're really sorry that there is no way to reschedule" would have been better than nothing.

 

Yes that is VERY unfortunate and regreattable. I would be devestated if that had happened to me.

 

I wont miss their silly uniforms. I always thought Chris' trouser legs were WAY too short....but I still wouldn't kick him out of bed for farting. :D I will miss the butterflies so much. So much so I am getting a butterfly tat on my wrist underneath my watch strap (So I can hide it at work) I will miss LIJ live so much, I will miss the excitement and build up of knowing that I had 'x' amount of weeks until the next concert. I will miss 42's blogs. I am moving into a period of deep mourning, lol.! :rolleyes:

They might bring back some of the live stuff next time around, we had the yellow balloons from the last tour :idea2: Also I hope the Viva era isn't completely gone as they still need to visit our Latin American friends :idea2:

He's a British writer/actor/comdian and long time friend of the band.

 

He wrote and starred in the films Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, he's also known for writing and starring in the TV series Spaced :D

 

He was also in Run, Fatboy, Run, Startrek (as Scotty) and How To Lose Friends and Alienate People.
