I am looking foward to a new era though :P

The ridiculous work-ethic and non-stop aim to please the fans constantly through new music, free live albums, non-stop touring, and other little treats along the way.

Yeah, except for ignoring all the people who had tickets to the Tampa show. They could have at least issued a band statement regarding the final cancellation of Tampa. All we got was a notification from livenation saying the postponed show was cancelled and the credit would be refunded. Something from the band would have taken some of the sting out of the final cancellation - instead of just blowing us all off.

I love the band, have been a fan for years, and still am a huge fan, but even if they just issued a "hey, we're really sorry that there is no way to reschedule" would have been better than nothing.

everything!!! the butterflies, the outfits, the stage design it was so amazing X_x long live vlv era!!!!

Definitely the butterflies, although we don't know if Lovers in Japan will return or not next tour.

One thing I'll definitely miss are the themes. Paintings, revolution, military outfits, etc. Makes me wonder what direction will be taken next.

One thing I won't miss is the number 42 being referenced in everything. It was cool for a while, but it got to the point where I didn't care anymore.

I'm gonna miss the jackets, the ohh-s at the end of Viva la Vida, roadie #42...a lot...but I feel like something good is coming soon! I FEEEEL it!

I am gonna miss Clocks' light spectrum, or "lasers", but those are not "lasers", they are a light spectrum.

The lazers lights have been going on Clocks since its debut in 2002. They're not going anywhere.

I don't know what they'll keep and what will go away, but I'll probably miss the butterflies and the acoustic session most. Still, having seen them six times this tour, I'm pretty tired of the Viva era and I like that by changing their website they acknowledged this era of Coldplay has ended and we can start looking forward to new stuff.

Let's hope for a Viva dvd to end the era with a bang! They weren't filming yesterday's (and today's?) concert for nothing.

The music, obviously.

Fantastic songs.

Fantastic albums.

But I know that they keep getting better.

aww this is really sad:bigcry:, i will miss every single thing about the vlv era, i swear it was the best days of my entire life, reading all the concert reviews, seeing pics of the show, watching videos of the shows, everything. I will never forget that:wacky:

Probably the colours for they were the main theme for me. The whole Viva 'thing' felt like art in its purest way. All the paintings and stuff, you know.

And the historical touch everything had. :D

i completely agree. i loved the whole feeling this era had...much more lively

Roadie 42 won't be gone! Or will he? :(

I hope not. I expect at least one last blog, but maybe he'll be back for the next tour?!

The butterflies!

I'm going to miss the butterflies - loved them and have quite a nice collection. I'm going to miss the live photos and videos that people have posted from the shows. I'm going to miss the constant upcoming concert excitement that existed on these boards. All the people here at coldplaying.com added so much to the tour, and really created a nice community to come share all things Coldplay with. I don't know if it can be recreated with another tour, especially since this one touched so many people all over the world, and created a special bond.

I absolutely loved the four concerts that I was lucky enough to go to on this tour (and even though Tampa was disappointing, I'm glad Chris was able to have the time to rest and recoup for the rest of the tour). Meeting the band was an amazing dream come true and the feeling of that concert just moments after I shook Chris's hand and talked with Will, true euphoria. Even though they were performing for thousands of fans at each concert, they made it feel intimate with the way they interacted with the crowd - not just the B and C stages, but the little gestures aimed at their fans during a show, the winks, the smiles, the nods.

The butterflies, but I think they'll be back! They've become the symbol of Coldplay, really :wacky:

Other than that, I'll miss how colorful it all was, and how energetic and amazing the concerts were, and just the general atmosphere of the whole era!

Ahhhhhhhh, now I'm getting sad

the free cd & demos :P I'm going to miss Guy's tweets! R-42 (Goes to read more blogs :cry2: ) the liveblogs def. postcards from far away project :cry2: Viva Balloon....hey! I liked the white viva balloon! and many others things..

Definitely not the way they're dressed.

It was awesome... But i dont think I'll miss anything... in general
