Mr Bossman would like to say a few words

Hi everybody! :cool4:

My Wembley review will have to wait until I've caught up with all the news and photos etc, so I will write that in a seperate post soon but I wanted to say how great it was meeting everyone who went to Wembley and at both the meetups (and of course Manchester the week earlier). I've been kinda blown away by everyone's support and thanks re the Coldplaying community and I didn't really appreciate how special it was to you all before this week but I do now. Its great to see how so many friendships have developed (Carla and Chavi :D, Mich, Mel, Lori, Angie, Min :D, dave and ari :D Cooky, Joe, Pete, and everyone :P :D spring to mind, but there are lots of others) through Coldplaying and it brings home to me how worthwhile this place is.

It was good to put faces to so many names that I've known for years on here even if my aging memory is not what it was :P but there were so many good memories that didn't even involve watching Coldplay at Wembley. Who can forget the massive singalong in the Dublin Castle to X&Y greatest hits.. liiiights will guiiiiide you hoooomme (still my favourite album :P). I hope someone recorded a video of it, if there is I haven't seen it yet :\ but there were so many pictures I'm looking forward to seeing them all again. Personally, I forgot my camera

P.S. And Chris I didn't get chance to do a podcast of you so I will endeavour to send you some jooooocy questions via PM and when you've answered them to the best of your ability I'll make sure they're posted on the main site

The whole weekend was a blast for everyone for different reasons, but for me I think this picture sums it all up, the togetherness, the moment. And boy what a group hug  Leaving Russell Square and seeing everyone getting further away was tough, I don't think we said much on the way home.

So there we are, until next time. Lets hope its not too long until they play fucking wembley again so we can all have some more fun. Don't know where that bad language came from, must be influence from some of the potty mouths that I chatted to this week haha :P

Nice!!! Great Pics, I am so glad everyone had such a great time, I mean how could you not?

I met alot of great people on my trip and the concert was excellent, great experience for me, Love Your Country!!!!!!!!!:)

Thanks a million Ian. This site does wonders. It's amazing how so many people from all around the globe can unite themselves under the Coldplay banner and discuss it here. This place is so special. Thanks again and I look forward to reading your review!

I'm glad that everyone had a great time, found new friends and met old ones. I've only been here for a year or so, but it takes less than that to realise that this is one of the best communities around.

And seeing how much fun everyone had, I also swear to myself never to miss a Coldplay show in Wembley again. :)

Sounds like something we all should've been part of. Really happy for you guys. :nice:

Damn you, Ian!!!:bigcry: :bigcry::bigcry:I told myself I'd be stronger today, then wake up to find this:bomb: I can't think straight, still (I've also caught the coldplayers@wembley sickness:sick:), but when I get it together you'll be getting a long-ass PM  And I hope that cussing comment was not about me?!?!:uhoh::stunned: I'm a lady, just hung out with a bunch of dirty-mouth idiots--you know who you are, coughChriscoughJoecough--all week who poisoned my vocabulary.

It truly was fanfuckingtastic to meet so many lovely coldplayers, and then come on here and read some comments supporting us from "home." Until the next cping meet-up...

:kiss::hug::kiss:

That looked like so much fun! :wacky:

Next time Coldplay goes to Wembley, I WILL BE THERE :whip:

Thank you everybody...I'm proud to be a Coldplayer for the beautiful time I've spent with you... It was a special meeting and I'll remember it forever: moreover the night at the Dublin Castle is one of the best of my life (second only to the two concerts at Wembely :P)

Thank you so much again.. I'm waiting for another meetup with you :)

Ian, you and your good lady Jen made this all possible, you know that?

I've met so many lovely people this last week, and seen so many old friends again that I only ever met in the first place through this place!!

Thank you so much Ian and Jen, for everything :)

I would like to echo Ian's sentiments and say what a fantastic experience those few days were.

Although I was unable to attend either the pre-concerts meet-up (I didn't arrive until late Thursday evening) or the post one (a combination of tiredness and the fact my parents live on the outskirts of London) I was still able to meet more than enough Coldplayers from all over the world and thoroughly enjoyed being a "tour guide" to a select few who weren't attending the Friday concert.

It was also good to renew acquaintances with a few familiar faces from previous concerts.:D

I was rather shocked how many Coldplayers appeared to actually have "colds"(:P). It appears that following Coldplay intensively can take its toll on your health!:stunned:

I hope all of you get better soon, anyway.;)

The actual atmosphere at the Saturday concert was the best I've ever experienced, even though it wasn't actually the best Coldplay concert I've ever seen.

I was only able to speak to Ian a couple of times briefly (after all, he had many people to meet and speak to), and he was exactly as I had expected him to be - extremely friendly, open-minded and non-judgmental.

I hope I get the chance to have a proper chat with him one day.;)

I'm now back in Germany but still buzzing from the entire experience - one I'll never forget, that's for sure!

I'm sure the memories will help give me a boost during the long, dark winter nights ahead.:D

For me, this forum has no equal.

It was a pleasure to meet you guys and give you a real face! Now it's different! ... the real is better! It was a fantastic week end!!

:)

Thanks for this place. Thanks to everyone for such a great time. What's that you say Boss? BBQ at yours next year. I could do that. ;) I bring the sunshine.

Angie I'll bring the charcoal!

No need mate. I believe there is a rather large stadium full of toss pots near yours, I'll just set fire to that. :sneaky:

Ian and Jen, thanks for everything these last two weeks, thanks for all your hard work and support on the site. Its been an amazing experience. Thanks to all Coldplayers, you made the England experience truly spectacular. I'll be posting more in a bit but wanted to start here because truly, its the community here thats made everything possible :D.

And a few words for Ian specifically:

You mention special friendships... what about you and me  I'm hurt :p.

And you can find a podcast with me here :P: http://audioboo.fm/boos/64440-podcast-with-me

I'm a lady, just hung out with a bunch of dirty-mouth idiots--you know who you are, coughChriscoughJoecough--all week who poisoned my vocabulary.

I hope next time I'll be able to share it with you.

Viva Coldplaying!

I may not have been there physically (and boy would I have loooooved to be lol) but thanks to all the CPing'ers who tweeted/posted/txt about their experiences! It was wonderful to read! For the next Wembley, I'm there!!! Let's just hope for the sake of my wallet, its at least a year away! Lol Ian and company: you guys do a great job keeping us all together.. And I'd like to think that Coldplay is the bond that will forever keep us together! We've been friends this long... You're stuck with me! Again, thanks everyone, and THANK YOU COLDPLAY!

GREETINGS FROM NYC! xoxoxoxoxo

I've thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in all the projects over the years here and have met some really lovely and friendly people in the process. And it was really cool to meet a lot of those people in real life at Wembley :nice:. I was actually dog-tired most of that day so I didn't really have a chance to talk to some people for as long as I would have liked, and I'm sad that I couldn't make the picnic in the park the next day when I thought I'd be able too . But endless thanks to Ian and Jen for making such an awesome experience possible - this forum gives meaning to my life, I swear  (and I'm not joking about that last part, either :P).

Thx Ian and Jenny for this website! Like many here, I met such lovely people through this website and coldplayers make coldplay's concerts special!
