Hey guys!

New to the forum as a member, though one of the biggest fans in the world! Have lurked for aaages reading it, only now I have started to post. :D

So, just wondering what you guys know about his time at Sherborne, his family life, and so on when/where he was brought up.

I love this article, told that bully!!

Did he have a rough time of it? He always says in interviews with regards to questions about the band being insulted: "well, we've hear it all before at school", etc. Thoughts?

Hehe I read this post two years ago and still smile whenever I read it.

:D

Helloooooooooooooooooooooo there neighbour! :D

Well I imagine his middle-class Public school upbringing gave him an easier time than most.

Go Chris! So many idiots in my school that I would like to humiliate this way (some day) haahha :D

LOL.....I would have paid to see that.

I understand it as someone who prefers learning (geek, Nerd) than doing anything else :smart:

Haha :D Awesome article !

Hello and welcome ! :D

I've read that article before, hehe. It makes me smile. :D Chris must have felt pretty damn good! And that guy must've been :uhoh: Totally embarassed. Yes, that's right, the skinny and somewhat of a geek that was no good with girls grew up and ended up in one of the biggest bands on the planet, on top of it managing to woo a blonde hollywood starlet. Right back at'cha! :P

I think that Chris's upbringing definitely helped him to success. On top of going to a posh public school, his Mum was a music teacher so it must have influenced him - and obviously musical talent runs in his blood. He must've been surrounded by it from a really young age. I don't know at what age he learnt to play the piano/guitar? I'm guessing he was preeetty young when he first learnt to play an instrument. I've never read an interview where he talks much about his beginnings, I'd like to know more...!

Oh and welcome to the boards newbie! :nice:

I love that article. :wacky: Go Chris, you rule! :smug: I would have loved to see this action.

I would also love to be able to have that kind of little sweet revenge, when I'm older, to the idiots who called me a "swot" in primary school. :shifty:

Welcome to Coldplaying, Don't Shiver. :) I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. :nice:
