but if the uterus is removed... isn't like some hormones gonna drop or something like that?
Yes. I guess a lot of women who get it out regret it afterward.
I voted au naturel, 'cause I don't use tampons or pads (bad for your vajayjay and the environment) everyone usually reacts in a EW THAT'S DISGUSTING :stunned: kind of way, but I use a Mooncup. It's the best thing ever. Seriously, I can't understand how I used to live properly without it. :cheesy:

(haha, that totally sounded like an advertisment :P)

Wow, I've never heard of a Mooncup before! I don't think they have those over here... at least, I haven't seen any.

Yeah but she has no problem PMSing all the time even without one.

And I doubt she's going to regret it because she would have died otherwise. Haha.

I've heard of people having to get that done. It's so sad.

I think I'm going to get one of these now!

I saw this on a Danish website (ladycup.dk)! Apparently there are different brands of menstrual cups - someone made a test of them: http://menstrualcups.wordpress.com/2008/06/11/my-comparisons-and-ratings/

I'm just confused. How are you supposed to take it out? On Ladycup's website it says that you should not pull it out with the little stem-thingy.

It seems like those in particular aren't available in the States, but there are other brands of the same product.

This thread makes me feel a bit disturbed.

Why that doc?

Well, reminds me of blood coming out of you know where, and then I get directed to delivering a baby, and I remember these pics I saw on my embryology book and I cringe.

Haha silly you!

I've watched a delivery and it wasn't that bad :D

It's painful and there are lots of blood. I mean, I'm ok with blood.

But there's something cringy about blood coming out of a vagina... I just can't really get over it.

Yeah right

Remembers me of the House episode where the woman had menstruations all over her body^^
