Good question re Local Natives' album. Surely it's 2009.... can we get some clarification?

Space Cadet said earlier in the thread that it doesn't count this year because it was released in November 2009 in the UK.

It's a shame because it would've been #1 on my list </3

I'm alive. ...Just for the record. :blank: :embarrassed:

I was afraid this might happen, but it is the very end of my very last semester in school, hopefully ever, so I've been a little bit absent of late. It's the reason the deadline is after Christmas this year. List worries might interfere with school loose ends otherwise. So keep your lists coming, I'll keep a relatively constant eye on this spot and update or respond when I can. Otherwise I'm more or less exiled from the board until December 17th- at which point I'll put a big push on.

Graphic banners and badges would be greatly appreciated. I don't think I have time before the 17th this time around.

Also, 29 lists! Thanks so much for keeping it all going.

Hedley

Gotta mention Hedley's The Show Must Go from Canada, though I'm a tad late.

:escaping3:

^I would rather not associate them with being Canadian.

Better add MCR's new album to the list...fucking amazing.

I like that Na Na Na song. :|

what an incredible contrast 2010 has been to 2009. this time last year i was struggling to come with a decent top 25 and im pretty sure i ended up including albums i really didnt enjoy that much. this year im going to end up leaving out a lot of great albums in my top 25 because there has been sooo much great music!

I have a feeling 2011 will be even better. :wacky:

^Radiohead, Hey Rosetta!, Coldplay, U2, those are some pretty heavy hitters.

^^

but big doesnt necessarily mean quality. like this year has been amazing but how many big bands have released new albums? i cant think of an album bigger than Kings of Leons new one. correct me if im wrong.

^Radiohead, Hey Rosetta!, Coldplay, U2, those are some pretty heavy hitters.

Don't forget Fleet Foxes, Explosions in the Sky, Death Cab for Cutie, Aphex Twin, The Decemberists,

^That reminds me, I should listen to that again. I also now need to decide whether I am going to include Kanye over Gorillaz in my list now or whether I could fit both in.

CUT COPY.

I don't know where to put Kanye in my list. I adore the album but it's kinda too early to decide...

It is amazing man! :D
