Evolution vs. Creationism!

Featured Replies

I think nobody has proved that God exists, because it's something personal belief and can not be proved

that if God exists he will show himself in private. it means personal belief.

word : prophet is already part of religions, community etc.

The Prophet teaches the laws and dictates of the Bible. He's even written.

I have always associate God is Love. it is the power of divine power that creates a positive and it's free and freely without commitment.

it's like evolution. it will never be male only is always masculine & feminine. creation is to create vivid ect..

just like how L'Achim says the invisible atraction for two people. it is also invisible. but becomes the creation of human life. creation-evolution

So for me God is love for my personal belief

Scientists keep finding more and more things that prove things in the bible and such.

I Completely respect other people's beliefs and religions after all it's what makes everybody unique. I Don't believe in God partly because of personal reasons and that I Find it hard to believe something without seeing it for myself.

This is proof that Noah's Ark existed from a picture taken in 1945:

If that's the sortof thing you're getting at.

Scientists keep finding more and more things that prove things in the bible and such.

And plenty of things that disprove it too.

And if it proved and disproved something I believed in, yet I still used it as a credible source, then I would question what I believed in.

Examples plz? (Not trying to say you're wrong, just curious to know what specifically you're talking about)

The Noah's ark thing was an example of 'evidence' from a creationist site, the other one was a massive 'leg bone' which proved that humans were at one point 16 feet tall (No this isn't a joke) and therefore any bones found were human bones (Again this is a real site).

But I decided the 16 feet human thing was a bit too ridiculous so I just kept it at the Noah's ark thing.

Pics didn't work for me either.

On a side note my (Muslim) friends at my old work a few years ago believed that Noah's Ark had been found, but it had be hushed up because they found information in it that could be dangerous and spark wars.

They also believed that soon there would be a war between the Muslims and Christians against the Jews and women, and that the winner would decide who inherited the earth (the Jews and the women would be on Satan's side of course). When I asked about pro-creation after the war if the Muslims and Christians won he said some of the women would be kept as slaves for that very purpose.

Ahh the Noah's Ark thing, i think i even saw a documental about it on the discovery channel once.

What about this example?

A lot of Christians believe in this, God created us to evolve.

Or even the pure mix of Creationism and Evolution, that God created everything, back to the Big Bang and beyond.

Like me. I'm Christian and my opinion is that God made the world and stuff but we evolved as well.

Wow, they managed to fit two of every animal on that thing? And stopped them from eating each other. And presumably went around the world beforehand to find things such as penguins and polar bears which wouldn't have been around where he supposedly built the ark.

Ahh the Noah's Ark thing, i think i even saw a documental about it on the discovery channel once.

Yeah but that's absolutely crazy. How many thousands of years old is Noah's ark and why isn't it still there now?

But that was the most reasonable 'evidence' I could find, a very blurry picture that to me looks nothing like an ark.

That hasn't always been the Christian belief, and many were persecuted for suggesting it. Christianity is the great evolver, since clearly God keeps changing his mind on what he actually wants.

I wish i had born 2 millions years from now so i'd probably have wings or telepathic powers :wideeyed:

Evolutionism ftw :charming:

I was trying to say that I'm Christian, yet I'm not 100% Creationist.

Of course I don't believe it, but we weren't given any evidence of Creationism so I decided to post something that didn't seem so incredibly implausible (Compared to how humans were 16 feet tall).

Though to me the Noah's ark theory is still insane.

"TRUTH CAN NOT CONTRADICT TRUTH" - POPE LEO XIII

Tis true my friends. Gensis, while not to be taken literally, is a truth in the sense that GOD CREATED. THIS IS A TRUTH. Evolution is just what has been shaping us over time. There is an overwhelming amount of evidence to support evolution. EVOLUTION IS TRUTH.

Read in between the lines. Unless you are taking every word in the Bible literally (highly unorthadox, though that is how most Christians do it), there are no contradictions whatsoever

TRUTH CAN NOT CONTRADICT TRUTH
