I surely don't have an issue number but that's something you can leave out. I'm not sure whether my mom has a start date :-D I doubt it and it certainly isn't on every card

Is it possible to register on the seetickets.com, so that you only log in and have the data already filled in, when you buy tickets? I can´t find it anywhere.

Ask anyone who ordered tickets and they'll have a story to tell.

It's a horrific site you're right Anna, they completely screwed up the delivery of the Coldplay Wembley tickets so we all had to go to the box office when we should've been queuing, they messed up the Glasto sale too. Can just see the site crashing like it did for the Glastonbury sale.

I´ve bought so many things from the UK, including tickets from GETMEIN and never had any problems with delivery, so this is quite surprising. Good to know, anyway.

Terrible, terrible bland-meisters Coldplay have taken time off from providing the soundtrack to every tiresome Ikea-furnished dinner party hosted by those really ‘sincere’ friends of yours that you actually really don’t like (they’ve got white fairy-lights in their tastefully-decorated front-room for God’s sake) to raise consciousness for the homeless charity Crisis.

 

Whilst ignoring the irony that, far from ‘raising’ consciousness, they were recently named the band most capable of rendering most sane people unconscious.

 

In a further lack of any PR savvy whatsoever, the breathtakingly earnest dullards have chosen to drum-up interest in the cause by playing a ‘gig’ – surely more likely to repel – IN SECRET. Genius.

And where are these marketing gurus playing (at a secret location) in December? London? Paris? New York?

Anyway, the band is urging fans to go to their website to register for tickets. We’re urging everyone else (a much larger proportion of the world) to go instead directly to http://www.crisis.org.uk and do something directly.

 

It’ll do more good and you won’t have to see or hear Coldplay and we’ll have done something good, albeit unintentionally.

BUT any publicity is good publicity for the charity. Even if the intent is to insult the boys, I still think the boys should/would be happy at the outcome: the article is bringing even more awareness to the cause.

Then what's the point in coldplay.com saying that anyone in the world can get the special code and auction tickets?

Why couldn't they just do this on ebay like the did for the EODCS last year? They could put the general seating as "buy it now" for £50, and the rest standard auction. Or maybe that would be too hard. Or too easy. I dunno.

Does somebody know if you can use tickets, bought with a creditcard from someone else? Both the Oracle, and the Hidden Gigs are not answering my question... And i REALLY have to be sure...

 

Unless this question's been answered - and I really hope I'm wrong for you guys' sake - I wouldn't personally have thought anyone would confirm that either way before the sale, unless it's a most definite 'no', because anything else just gives free licence to touts and ebay profiteers.

 

If you're a true fan though I'd say risk it, especially if you can get some printed proof that you have a true link with the credit card holder, but that's just me, (and I wouldn't be coming from abroad for the gig) :\

So it's tomorrow this time, right? I'm so nervous already.

 

I've been here in London since this summer and guess what, my flight back to South Korea is on 19th December ;) When I first read this info, I was like 'please please before I go back home please please..... hell.' :rolleyes:

 

But I definitley would change my flight (Which would be very tricky, it's around Christmas...) because Coldplay have never been to South Korea before and this would be my closest chance to see them live! If only I get the ticket tomorrow! I've never tried the ticketing system of foreign website so it makes me more worried... If someone can help me that would be wonderful but I think the tickets would be very hard to get for anyone of us.

- the tickets would normally be despatched by secure mail (£4.80 transaction fee), or

- the event is less than 20 days away.

Yes, to collect the tickets, that is clear, but what if the person buying the tickets collects them and then gives them to someone else. We still don´t know, if they will check IDs when entering the venue... :\
