I would have applied... But unfortunately I have an exam at 3pm on Wednesday and there really isn't a chance they'd let me skip/renegotiate it for the second time in a term for Coldplay. There's only so much flexibility my lecturers will allow.

I understand it's a Christmas Show with multiple acts on TV, but because the BBC is listing this as purely a Coldplay event and because it's an hour long, it seems to me that they can't possibly have other acts performing for taping at the same time we'll be there...yes?
