He's a very private (and shy) person and I think that when he can avoid fan meeting and stuff, he does it :D

 

Seriously, if I were him, I'd probably do the same by moments. I mean, meeting fans of yours while you travel, or just hang around somewhere near the concert...is kind of awkward.:thinking:

Guy was on the flight from London to Oslo on Jan 2nd, so I grabbed him after the flight and took a pic with him. He's a really cool guy (no pun intended)!

 

 

But wow, they were in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve, then practically a day later he's flying out of London!

 

Kinda wished I would of asked him some questions but I didn't want to bother him :)

^Exactly. He was super nice with me too, he ASKED to sign my stuff :freak: and he was super smiley.

 

I guess that the thing is, it must be super annoing meeting fans at every plae you go, you know.... It must be the same feeling you get when you think someone is following you... So I think that these time when he´s not that nice is cause he isnt "mentally prepared" to meet with fans.

Imagine yourself that after he met capitain Kirk he must´ve been imagining "OH my God, now that everyone saw us, they´ll come for more pictures and stuff and I wont have peace" :uhoh:

I totally agree. I never met him, but for what I heard, he tends to be sweet, but he's shy as well, and sometimes he just wants to be an anon, like anyone else.

Guy takes a pounding on this board, but i do question his interest sometimes and in the "Roadie" book there are several references to his quirkyness and conflicts with CM.

That's awesome! He does seem to like being low key, but after the many hours of traveling that day, he still stopped and took a picture with a fan. Seems really nice to me.

OMG, I wonder if they were all back by the 2nd then?!?! I was at the Bakery/Beehive on Monday the 3rd, and figured they probably weren't back yet, so didn't hang around long. I got a pic of two men taking canvas to the Beehive though (posted in the Beehive/Bakery thread)... Arrrghhh, I hope I didn't miss the chance to maybe meet them :(
