This song makes me tear up every single time. It's weird, because it's not due to memories attached to the song, nor is it due to the lyrics. (The song is about baby Jesus.) It's just that this song is crafted in such a way that it evokes so much emotion, and that power touches me in a way that makes me cry. This is a beautiful song, and Eric Whitacre is a genius.

hmmm well for me there seems to be only person and one time of my life so far that I really connect with music and certain songs

 

that ex-friend I met at uni and who I was friends with for 2 years (I think I had a huge crush on him too and I can't make up my mind why it never worked....)...I had so much in common with him and we loved similar music and he brought me into a lot of stuff and I hung out with him and we watched music related stuff on TV....and we talked about music so much...and....oh well I better stop thinking about this now otherwise I'll get nostalgic and kinda sad haha

well, I'm not an Oasis fan, but he was....and one night after a party on our way home we were singing this song out loud on the street and I was feeling kinda down and weird and this was kinda cool

 

there are so many songs I could post....some Arcade Fire stuff....some other brass stuff....some funk and soul stuff.....some trashy stuff....and it all reminds me of him

 

on the other hand....there are soooo many other random songs that remind me of other random people
