Reminds me of that lovely summer and makes me happy for that reason. Good choice. This song doesn't necessarily make me feel happy. Just, emotional I guess. I just remember driving to Cape Breton for my grandmothers funeral. We were listening to Travis (the singles album) and the song "Why Does It Always Rain On Me". As that song was playing the sky turned black and it poured rain. Thunder and lightening. It was a very surreal experience, and that album reminds me of that family moment. Travis is like the one band that everybody in my family likes and can listen to together. So yeah. That's my pretty personal story about about Travis and those first few songs on the album. I almost went with this one instead, but since you beat me to it... I used to grumble so much that this belonged on the radio but never would be. She's on a major label and it's such a great song.
