May 28, 201115 yr I think that the reason there is no sound on any of these videos is because they want us to experience the full music when it actually comes out... Ive always imagined coldplay music as filling my head full of color, light, and beautiful sounds when I listen to their songs. Maybe thats what they want here
May 28, 201115 yr I turn the music up, I got my records on, from underneath the rubble sing a rebel song, ("Rebel" as in White Rose) Don't want to see another generation drop, (They push against politics and dictatorship) I'd rather be a comma than a full stop... (They rather being stopped for a short amount of time than forever, as in a march) Thats what i think. My guess is, the song will be the first out of the Album with the theme of the "White Rose"

May 28, 201115 yr Well you know it was just a strong feeling ^^ The lyrics are about rebellion, about something that has the power to gather a generation and shouldn't die... But like I said it's just the feeling! i agree, although i think that maybe it's more like something that has the power to gather multiple generations. for example, the "I'd rather be a comma than a full stop" part seems to signify being open to what is next, or being open to the next generation of people to come rather than being narrow-minded with a high-and-mighty attitude. now that i think about it, it could be more of a Viva la Vida-style song than a Violet Hill one; that is, from the point of view of the leader or someone in a higher position rather than a revolutionary or whatever. maybe i'm over-thinking it. :P
