July 20, 201114 yr Nope, a lot pf people know what a Mnemonic device is, unlike you who has confused it with an acronym (no offense, just proving a point). :D
July 20, 201114 yr Nope, a lot pf people know what a Mnemonic device is, unlike you who has confused it with an acronym (no offense, just proving a point). :D First letter mnemonics One common mnemonic for remembering lists consists of an easily remembered acronym, or phrase with an acronym that is associated with the list items. The idea lends itself well to memorizing hard-to-break passwords as well. For example, to remember the colours of the rainbow, use the mnemonic "Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain". Yes, Acronym as well.
July 20, 201114 yr But nobody calls an acronym a mnemonic, they aren't using mnemonics. THEY don't need to remember. Gosh dang it I can't explain this any further. The title has nothing to do with Mnemonics, that's it.
July 20, 201114 yr And i find it hard to explain it to you :laugh3: It does make sense thats the Point.
July 20, 201114 yr Lol no it doesn't though! It's a made up title and your just trusting it. With your logic, how come it isn't Monday UFO?
July 20, 201114 yr Eww . . . Monday UFO . . . just . . . no  Obviously, but Mnemonics Murals is weirder. And that's not even the point.
July 21, 201114 yr Well, no, that isn't the point, but I had to say that out of all the potential possibilities, that's my least favorite :P And I'm just going to stay out of this one xD I have no experience with what you guys are discussing
July 21, 201114 yr Dunno if everyone knows this or not? http://www.nme.com/news/thrice/58164 I guess thats that title off the table then. Surely its too close?
July 21, 201114 yr Dunno if everyone knows this or not? http://www.nme.com/news/thrice/58164 I guess thats that title off the table then. Surely its too close? Nice find. Indeed, Major Minus would seem kind of weird at this point...
July 21, 201114 yr Author Dunno if everyone knows this or not? http://www.nme.com/news/thrice/58164 I guess thats that title off the table then. Surely its too close? I see coldplay influences there :P Yellow
July 21, 201114 yr Dunno if everyone knows this or not? http://www.nme.com/news/thrice/58164 I guess thats that title off the table then. Surely its too close? I think somebody has a few Coldplay records
July 23, 201114 yr It might be, although it's a bit awkward because Major Minus might not be a part of the album.
July 23, 201114 yr ^ Exactly :laugh4: EDIT: Sudden burst of intuition here . . . I think it would make sense if LP5 were called 'Memento Mori' (aka 'Remember, you will die' in Latin) since the guys have told us that the album will focus around a story. Maybe death is one of the main focusses (foci?) in the story, and it's driving the characters to make their decisions? Sorry, random thought there
August 10, 201114 yr Author I almost discarded the idea of this as a title but Guy almost confirmed it will be on lp5 so now Im considering it again!
August 10, 201114 yr me too, I would like Major Minus as a title, but I kinda think it's not too possible , it's a b-side
August 10, 201114 yr Major Minus is on the album, wtf is wrong with you? Ok, take it easy, it's just that I don't think it will be the title for some reason, and? nothing's wrong with me, it's only that I think different than you, so wtf is your problem?
August 10, 201114 yr You cited it as a b-side after all this discussion and after even Guy basically confirmed it.
August 10, 201114 yr ^^We should start drama on the forum so we have something to do until LP5 comes out! Excellent idea.
