  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

TKOL has always been the album I tend to avoid. I've been in a few instances where I sit and really enjoy it, but the only standout songs, in my opinion, are Lotus Flower, Little by Little and Give Up The Ghost (+ the intro from Codex).

I hope they go a different direction with LP9. Which, obviously, they will.

i'm just happy that they're still releasing not terrible music

I don't think it's possible for them to do such a thing.

I mean it's bad compared to the rest of their material, but it's not totally awful.

I was listening to that at work one day, with it turned up a tad too loud, and someone heard that line and gave me a weird look.

mrkjhnwht you really have this thing about wanting bands to cater for your tastes

What's wrong with wanting your favourite band to release a great album?

Catering for my tastes would be In Rainbows II, but I wouldn't want that, as that's no progression.

And my name's Mark, for future reference, I know it must be a ballache typing out "mrkjhnwht".

Bloom is a top 5 Radiohead song.

It's cool!

Bloom's alright, wouldn't go as far as top five Radiohead songs ever, top 20 even, but that's just my opinion.

Here's a recording of London soundcheck. The static goes away after a while.

yikes his bottom teeth resemble the mountains of Mordor or something

* I know, that wasn't very nice *

Bloom is okay; I really like the FTB performance of it though, pretty awesome

I was just about to post the same thing! :laugh3: I hate you for beating me to it

I spent over $50 in Radiohead + Atoms for Peace material tonight. I only went for Amnesiac and left with this.

i should really get that Default single i love 12"s

Same here. I want to open it, but I'm not totally sure yet.

Do you play records regularly? if not then I guess you don't have to.

I do ever-so-often. I like collecting them more, at the moment. That, and I have barely any time to actually sit and play records.

The Default single is fun. Love the b-side.
