DreamOutLoud
The set-list from Bristow is pretty amazing: 01. All I Need 02. Jigsaw Falling Into Place 03. Lucky 04. Nude 05. Pyramid Song 06. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi 07. Myxomatosis 08. Idioteque 09. Faust Arp 10. Videotape 11. Paranoid Android 12. Just 13. Reckoner 14. Everything In Its Right Place 15. Bangers and Mash 16. Bodysnatchers encore 1: 17. Like Spinning Plates 18. Optimistic 19. Karma Police 20. Go Slowly 21. Planet Telex encore 2: 22. Fake Plastic Trees 23. The National Anthem 24. House of Cards I was there! 3rd person back dead center in front of thom!:D that was THE BEST SHOW HANDS DOWN... I have been to at least 5 shows over the last 5 yrs and that was bloody amazing! the show is up on DIME and it sounds pretty good. considering the INSANE WEATHER, WORST EVER that i have experienced my concert going lifetime. But wouldn't of missed it for nothing.. I was soaked to the bone and cold braving the torrential rains that didn't let up not once the whole nite.. Something like 6-8 inches of rain fell in that area. Roads were closed and flooded. Hundreds of people who had seats and were driving in didn't make to the show due to the dreadful conditions. Police turned many away. Many came from other states only to miss the show by the time they got close enough.. Those poor people.. If you are an ateaser go read some of the stories in the LIVE forum there. anywho here are some pics my hubby took with my camera (being vertically challenged I handed the picture taking baton to him). busybeeburns
Coldplay Praise Radiohead And Raconteurs Over Recent Album Releases But say they're happy to be on EMI... Coldplay frontman Chris Martin says he has “absolute respect” for the way Radiohead and The Raconteurs released their latest albums. Over the past six months, both bands have chosen to challenge traditional release principals – Radiohead allowing fans to name a price for ‘In Rainbows’ and The Raconteurs dispatching ‘Consolers of the Lonely’ without a press lead time. Martin said he had admiration for “people who can do what they like” but added that the band were still happy to be signed to major label, EMI. "Being on a major label at the moment is like living in your grandparents' house," he told Reuters. "Everyone knows they need to move out, and they will eventually, but we kind of like our grandmother.” Martin acknowledged that the band were still part of an “antiquated model” but said that they "really love the people we work with.” Coldplay’s new album ‘Viva La Vida’, which is out on June 12th, will be their first release since EMI was acquired by private equity company Terra Firma last August. The band are seen as one of the label’s biggest assets after Radiohead and Sir Paul McCartney chose to leave the company. http://www.gigwise.com/news/43135/coldplay-praise-radiohead-and-raconteurs-over-recent-album-releases
