I would really like it if the next Coldplay album has a mixture of everything like some y=up tempo songs, some slow songs, some acoustic songs and some non-acoustic ones. But still in an alternative rock style rather than an r'n'b or pop one.

I would not mind another Rihanna duet on the new Coldplay album. Bt that would as far as it would go. I wouldn't buy the next Coldplay album if it was entirely r'n'b orientated. A mixture of everything ie fast, slow acoustic and non-acoustic would be great but it would have to be in an Alternative Rock style as that is what the band are already know for.

If there's another duet, it's not likely to be with Rihanna. But personally I hope there isn't.

No thank you, but I'm actually friend with a fan of her, and she's the only one I know who understands my fangirlness, so that would be funny I think :lol:

Especially as that friend doesn't really like Coldplay :lol:

I could imagine a co-writen song, maybe with Noel playing the guitar, but I don't think there would be a propper "duet"

I don't mind a duet, but why did they choose Rihanna? they are good friends with Beyoncé? I never understand that...

I hate to say it, the only reason I can think of is: either Chris is crazy and he really thinks Rihanna is a very good artist. But the most obvious reason I think is to gain more popularity, a new big hit and more money.... grrr I hate to say that. But I'm afraid it's true.... Why didn't they choose someone like Emily Sandé (She's a real artist! and still quite unknown)?
