I won't mind the lack of an EP if you have maybe like Tomorrow and Car Kids backing CB, Aiko/1000-whatevers/Rex backing HLH, something maybe Great Expectations backing Paradise, etc. If we get singles backed with some of the b-sides then I don't really need an EP.

 

Also: my gut is seriously telling me that Shooting Star/Golden Arrow/Luminous is all UFO.

4. Princess Of China (without Rihanna)

6. Up With The Birds (featuring Leonard Choen)

Car Kids and Golden Arrow are the only ones though that I am definitely sure are going to end up as some kind of release.

 

I was actually thinking they'd probally release A Princess of China without Rihanna as well. I have nothing against her being on the track, but I think it's likely they'll have a version with out her, kind of lke Lost and Lost+, only in reverse.

Personaly, i dont think there will be a version of PoC without Rihanna...for me its just one easy reason: They seem so proud of this collaboration,its mentioned nearly in every interview...yeah,its simple but thats why i dont think that will happen ;)

(also because i have the feeling that the song will be a central song of Mylo Xyloto...)

As for an EP following Mylo Xyloto, I say that we have a chance at least. It seems that the guys wrote a ton of songs for this era (although Chris did mention that they've been writing songs like crazy and then squirreling them away for future use so that may eliminate any possibility). Although we already have the ETiaW EP for this era, so maybe we'll get a bunch of b-sides? I think we can figure at least three more singles for this era (Charlie Brown, Princess of China, Hurts Like Heaven, and maybe one more) and if all of those have 1-2 b-sides then we can get an EP's equivalent of songs before the era ends.

 

So either way, we'll be getting several more songs for this era in one form or another :nod:

They can squeeze all those references into 2:18 or whatever it is. It just looks like more than it actually is.

I think there's a good chance, this days artists always release special editions with new songs less than a year after the original. As they wouldn't want us to pay those 14 tracks again, an EP is very likely.

Could be but love in a lethal dose was known as a title since 2009 but chris announced hurts like heaven as a new song in january of this year :/
