It's VERY experimental! This is a good thing because it's a chance for the band to explore new sounds. 2. The instruments sound amazing! It has an epic chorus with buildups which will have the fans drooling! 3. It is guaranteed to be a hit! Which means well for the band. The Cons: 1. Too much Rihanna! It seems as if Chris Martin only sings one verse. 2. Jonny is barely on the song! I understand if your exploring new sounds but don't leave out a band member! Even though I hate some parts, I think its a great song! what are YOUR thoughts?

October 17, 201114 yr That's my biggest problem with it. I love love loved the Chris only version. Rihanna's voice works well with Chris's though. I just wish it wasn't so overproduced :shame:
October 17, 201114 yr Author I never said Rihanna was bad in the song. She is a terrific singer and does an amazing performance for the song. I just happen to think that she is more prominent in the song than Chris.

October 17, 201114 yr So my husband says I am over reacting... I won't say I hate it but the part of too much Rihana and less Jonny bugs me. And Top hit fits more to if it was a Rihana song with Colplay not the other way round as it is :s Ok, I think that for now TO ME it has more cons...
October 17, 201114 yr Actually for me Rihanna is a PRO in this song Agree. Her voice sounds beautiful. :nod: Helps the song quite a lot. I can see why the boys went with her. Rihanna is a pro at this kind of music - there is no one better in the world.
October 17, 201114 yr This song can't be a single. It's too weird, imo. It's really good, but it's just like, for most people, it'll be like: "WTF IS THIS?" in a mystified kind of way. It's a very strange little song.

October 17, 201114 yr It's not like there's some level of production at which point a song becomes "over-produced." The amount of production needs to be appropriate to the type of song. This song is shimmery and loud, but it should be.
