Extra North American dates added

Second nights in Vancouver, Dallas, Philadelphia, DC, Boston, San Jose, Toronto, Montreal and East Rutherford

 

Good evening. Nine extra dates have now been added to Coldplay's North American tour - all of which are second nights at existing venues: Vancouver on 21 April, San Jose on 28 April, Dallas on 23 June, Philadelphia on 6 July, Washington DC on 9 July, Toronto on 24 July, Montreal on 27 July, Boston on 30 July and East Rutherford on 4 August. See below for the full updated list of shows.

 

The AMEX pre-sale for all three shows begins at 10am (local time) today from here. The general sales for all the confirmed shows except LA and Chicago begin Saturday at 10am (local time) from 1-800-745-3000, Ticketmaster and Livenation.

21 dates in America and Canada for 2012

 

Good morning. We are very pleased to announce that Coldplay will head to North America in 2012 for a string of shows in the USA and Canada.

 

Tickets go on general sale on Saturday, 17 December at 10am (local time) from 1-800-745-3000, Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Before that, you can use any American Express card to purchase advance tickets, from Monday, 12 December, at 10am (local time) until Friday, 16 December, at 10pm (local time). The advance AMEX tickets will be available from here for all shows except Portland (here) and Houston (here). NB: The tickets for the two LA Bowl shows will not go on sale until January 2012.

Closest they are coming to where I live is Chicago. I'm totally sad they are not coming to Cincinnati, because I'm probaly not gonna be able to see them. :( :cry:

As far as I can tell it is all small arenas. I was afraid they'd be playing at places like the Cowboy's Stadium (biggest venue we have in the area) when they were talking about it being a Stadium tour. Glad it's just the AA Center (which is still big) but manageable!

I assume they'll announce more dates later. This is a very small tour...

Is it very likely that they will announce future dates for NY? I'm wondering if I should hold out for a NY date or buy tickets for NJ or Boston. How do you get to IZOD Center from Manhattan anyways?
