For those who have seen Coldplay often: what is the best seat option to get?

Do you guys think its because of the bracelets the tickets are so expensive?

i just can't wait for them coming to seattle soon! :D

I think the glowbands are just for the actual leg of the tour, but I hope they give us glowbands for paying such expensive tickets!!

I saw them on a big stadium and I was seating on the upper seats which were GA, and we arrived a bit late and here is the view that I got:

Not the best but I still enjoyed the show! :D But I recommend you to get some better seats!!

I'm kind of excited. I know I won't be getting tickets soon but I hope that later on or early next year there still is GA.

Anyway, at least we know these are not the only shows they will announce, still more tba.

Got my eyes on Dallas and Houston, and the Montreal show me thinks.

Also, HOPEFULLY when they release more shows St. Louis, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, and Austin are considered into the equation!!!

For those complaining about the ticket prices, I have to tell you that they charged pretty much the same exact thing during Viva.

Also Ticketmaster will charge you almost 20$ for processing fees and other bullshits.

^ I disagree, it's more than 25% higher than what I paid on the Viva tour.

Matt Miller. :P

my sneaky pap pic from far away

Damn. We just cannot afford to buy tickets right now. Couldn't afford to buy Radiohead tickets, either. Damn, damn, dammit! Why do they have to sell tickets RIGHT before Christmas?!

Sorry, Coldplay.....buying gifts for my kids and nieces and nephews are more important than you.

Does anyone know if you can buy presale tickets with a prepaid Amex card or does it have to be a regular card?

Good question! I want first dibs! I hate this presale offer

Everybody is moving! I'm moving to Washington DC on february and i'm really glad that I will see a lot of artists I like there! :D

Indeed! There are small and large venues that is like the holy grail for good music in DC! Plenty of great Indie acts too.

July 8th can not come quick enough! I just hate that its a Sunday. Sundays are so blah! Oh well! Not this one! :laugh3:

I plan on going to this concert alone this time. Its not as fun with people who dont appreciate them as much as you do

According to Ticketmaster (which is subject to change, though), there's not going to be GA, and on one of the legs of the US Viva tour, at some of the same venues like the Izod Center etc, there weren't GA sections then, so I don't know what I think about the odds of that happening this time. But Ticketmaster could change the info they have up too, we'll just have to see.

I have a recent experience with this and I thought I'd share....

I just went to a The National concert at the Air Canada Centre, where Coldplay will play in Toronto on this tour. And when I bought my tickets, it didn't make any mention of GA being available whatsoever. Yet, when I got to the show last night, there was a definite GA section!? But there couldn't have been more than 50 people there (although bear in mind that this is a much smaller show than I'm assuming Coldplay's would be; less than half of the arena was being used).

I was so confused. I've not even the slightest clue how those people got whatever tickets it was that they got. I don't even remember there being any kind of special pre-sale for the show.

And the strangest thing is that when I checked out the venue beforehand, it showed a drawn out image of what the venue was supposed to look like, and it showed floor SEATS. But there definitely were no seats.

This is kind of concerning to me. I really hope that there is a GA section, or if not, that there is definite floor seating that can actually be attained by the general population.

This particular concert is very important to me and I'm spending a lot of money on it, so I better not go through hell.

Sold out very fast?

Do you guys have any idea if the tickets are going to sold out within minutes like in the UK/Europe? I'm extremely concerned about this! :(

I always aim for the first few rows of the sections right next to the stage on the first level. SOOO much better than the floor seats.

^^ Agree with this. It can be super hard to see if you are on the floor if you are short(like me lol) unless you are in the first couple of rows.

Thank you! I am quite tall myself so I shouldn't have any problem with seeing over people.

My guess is probably not... but don't hold me to it if they do.
