I had to go back through about 13 pages of the Chris thread to find it.. (very hard and time consuming - I bet you all feel so sorry for me! :p). it was Postcards - Lucia who suggested it. Thanks !!

I think I saw this one on TV a few years back when we had the Palladia channel for a short time. Will be great to revisit it, since, like I said, it's been a while :).

I saw it on TV too on MTV World Stage, but I'd be glad to watch it again ;)

I don't think I have the entire concert either, sadly... wish I did. I can't find any links anywhere though.

 

I have attempted to upload to Rapidishare twice today and it's failed twice, trying again now.

My upload keeps failing so I am afraid I am giving up! I am downloading the 12 parts from here for my own consumption, as they are MUCH much better qualitiy than I have.. so it's down to your own personal preferences here. :)

 

My geeky hubby tells me that IF I download all 12 parts (at 40 mins each! Yikes) I can then open the first one - its a RAR file for those in the know, and all 12 parts should then open together in some mysterious fashion! LOL.. I'll let you know how I get on! LOL.

 

I'm hoping it will all download before Friday! LOL!

I could only open the first download ! The second one didn't work for me. I haven't tried the others :)

If you're downloading from Rapid share you can only download one file at a time.. ;) It won't allow you to download multiple files unless you pay for the priviledge. That might be what has happened. Try it again once the original download is over.. However if you're anything like me, I started downloading yesterday afternoon, and I am only up to the 7th file. 5 more to go!!

Oh but I didn't download it at the same time. Hmm I shall try it again, then. :)

Yeah... if it's any consolation I am up to part 11 of 12.. I am REALLY hoping to be able to watch it today.. but probably be tomorrow now.. oh and one of my parts failed too.. so I just had to try again..

OK I FINALLY Have them all downloaded and it plays.. only took a week.. haha.. so I suggest that this video is the cake club video of THIS week too! A lot of us are off school/work this coming week, and will have time to watch it properly..

I finally downloaded the last part last night, but I didn't have the time to watch it. I think I'll watch it tonight.

So FINALLY got around to getting that whole thing worked out so I could watch the video. Yeah, I definitely remember seeing this concert on TV a few years back, it was really fun to watch it again.

 

 

Get the shallow out of the way first: HOT. And I'm referring to the entire band here when I say this, my god, they all looked so, SO good during this show. What a sexy bunch, these men.

 

"In My Place", "Viva La Vida", and "Lost!" were probably my particular favorite performances from this. "In My Place" just made me smile, and there was some nice Buckin interaction, and the whole thing was beautiful. "Viva La Vida" was flat out FUN. I love how that song pumps up a crowd so much.

 

(And I liked when Chris was all sprawled out on the floor at the end, too :sneaky: (and ahhhhh, so THAT'S where the one infamous gif comes from...))

 

And "Lost!" just rocked. That had me dancing about in my seat quite a bit. I also liked when Chris was moving about from side to side behind Guy at one point and Guy just kept on playing his bass, totally undistracted :lol:. Chris was quite a bundle of energy at that show, hopping and dancing about all over the place, it was super cute to see. Loved watching everyone have fun with those big drums, too :D.

 

The umbrella during "Lovers in Japan" is a great touch, and then of course there's the awesome "God Put A Smile..."/"Talk" medley, too. I watch shows like that and I'm really sad I never got to see them on that tour, every show from that era I've seen looks like it was a total blast. Short, but very fun show.

I'm sad too that I didn't get to go to one of the Viva concerts. I totally LOVE their performance! I hope I will get to see them perform Lovers in Japan live someday.

Me too Wing. I would have loved to have seen the Viva tour, and the X&Y tour too..

and come to that all of the tours would have been awesome. Still we can get excited about the MX tour now.

 

Glad you finally got to see it Angela. And I agree with you on most of that! Loved yellow, the colours..! Amazing the yellow balls against the black show.. and yes the hotness.. phew.. Loved the Guy dance too.. LOL.

 

The GPASUYF/Talk part is probably one of my favourite bits actually... it's nice to see both songs done differently and I love Talk.. so super.

 

NOW... what do we want for NEXT WEEKS CLUB VIDEO?

 

ANY suggestions?? I'm kind of in the mood for a documentary, if anyone has any ideas.. I'll put my thinking cap on too over the next few hours and see what I can come up with.

I have just checked the downloads on Coldplaying all seem to be non-functioning at the moment, so if we are all wanting to see this, other than via youtube, I can give it a go at uploading? But the you tube links all seem to be working fine and seem pretty good quality.
