Do you fancy the Viva era video.. it's a smallish gig, not terribly long, but very lovely in my personal opinion. :) Oh and if it helps, Chris is adorable in it! :p..

 

What do you all think? Or have you an alternative you want to watch.. I know we did say we'd watch interviews/documentaries one week, then a live gig the next.. so maybe one of you has a nice one of those up your sleeves you would like to share with us?

I don't have an idea of an interview/documentary right now, so unless someone has, I vote for the Viva gig :P

:) So glad you found it. I watched it tonight (again) with my son. My husband was out, so we streamed it to the living room tv, turned out the lights, put on our xylobands (lol yes so childish but who cares?) and danced about to it LOL... We had a great time.. :laugh3:

You can use VLC Media Player, I had the same problem when just using Windows Media Player to play it :)

The first time I saw this was on youtube using those links.. and subsequently lost the links to it. So thanks for posting them again! Bookmarked, favourited, downloaded and fully ingested into my system now! LOL.. But I spent a LONG long time searching for it all over the place, before coming back to CPing and asking for the download to be re-instated here.. which is was.. thankfully.

Great to see DAAOHF done live.. I wish they'd do that this tour.. but I don't suppose they will. Love that song.

 

In fact lovely to see all the viva songs done live..

 

The hardest part? I adore this version.. and no it's NOT just cos it's Chris.. LOL.. athough there is an element of that obviously.. But I love the song anyway and live it's better.

 

Yellow ... they seem to do it a little more UPbeat now don't they? Or is it just me? I liked this.. but I prefer what they do with it now.

 

Chinese sleep chant... first time I ever saw that done live was in this video.. and the first time I saw the techno version of GPASUYF also.. so it's special for me. :)

 

In fact I love the whole concert. One of my favourites. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.

I had the same problem & yes, the only way to view this properly is to downlaod the VLC player..I tried other things but they didn't work, so don't waste your time trying too..

Humm.. that's interesting.. have you tried right clicking on the concert and selecting 'Open with'.. then if VLC isn't in the list that pops up, you can try the default program thingy and go and browse for it in your program files..?

 

Other than that.. I'm a bit stumped.. If that still doesn't work for you, PM me and I will get hubby to try and fit it for you.. he's my tame geek here and if something computery doesn't work for me.. I call him! LOL.. (he's a bit like ghostbusters only less.. umm... erm.. this analogy isn't working for me really.. it's far too early in the morning! LOL! But he will help I am sure!).
