August 2, 201213 yr He sounds soo similar to Chris, atleast through all of this trolling we found a great song :)
August 2, 201213 yr Wow. Just wow. I don't buy it. It must be Chris dubbing that guy in the video. It's funny how when he sings S.O.S. he doesn't sound as much as Chris as he does when he speaks or when he sings The Shine. Congratulations to the person who found this and posted as a Coldplay song. You are a genuine troll.
August 2, 201213 yr ^ :wtf: Are you all really hearing Chris in this guy's voice? Only in the very beginning of the video where his voice is mumbled and quieter in the background I though for a moment he sounded really like Chris. But when he's singing high he doesn't sound like him at all.
August 2, 201213 yr Theory: this is an elaborate publicity stunt to get more people to listen to this other band. :p The lower register of Chris and this guy sound quite similar though!
August 2, 201213 yr My eyes are deceiving me... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2McuPmMxFgE]Waylayers - S.O.S. - YouTube[/ame] But I like them..
August 2, 201213 yr I don't think he sound like chris when he speaks maybe he just have the same accent !

August 4, 201213 yr He only sounds like Chris in The Shine - not so much in everything else. So glad that it's solved though. I can rest easy now.
August 6, 201213 yr ^ Fall of man could have been a great song. right this is really weird, but you know the lyrics in fall of man 'i had my wife and kids involved in my jag, i went out for a ride and i never came back' (i think thats it anyway) - thats from another really old song, but i can't for my life remember what it was. And back on the subject of shine, first thing i thought FLASH AHHHH SAVIOUR OF THE UNIVERS :3

August 6, 201213 yr I know this song, is from the british band called Waylayers: http://waylayers.co.uk/ This song "The Shine" is from the debut album “Weightless” (2011). 01 - Sinking In 02 - Weightless 03 - Hear No Lies 04 - Big Machines 05 - The Shine Waylayers // The Shine (2011) - YouTube Thanks. :cheesy: Actually that band doesn't sound that bad. :surprised: S.O.S is pretty catchy.
August 6, 201213 yr Magnets is one hell of a good song. But I can't find their album on itunes, all that comes up is an ep, I wanted to buy a song.
August 9, 201213 yr right this is really weird, but you know the lyrics in fall of man 'i had my wife and kids involved in my jag, i went out for a ride and i never came back' (i think thats it anyway) - thats from another really old song, but i can't for my life remember what it was. And back on the subject of shine, first thing i thought FLASH AHHHH SAVIOUR OF THE UNIVERS :3 The line is "Got a wife and kids in Baltimore, Jack/I went out for a ride and I never went back." It's from Springsteen's "Hungry Heart," which I think Chris has covered once or twice live. There are some performances floating around somewhere in the MM forum.
