So without all of the Holi paint, the outfits look more VLV than MX

 

I personally like the outfits like that better. With a few spots of paint only instead of a rainbow that threw up on the band. [emoji23]

The blue spot is really cool looking! It reminds me of the X&Y outfits but still original.

That's what they were thinking in the Economic Times article that put down Chris Martin. But I think it's going to happen sooner then that. I mean that ASFOS video happened pretty quick so why wouldn't this one too?

1) That VR project is from the GS era. It was a VR concert experience.

 

2) I have no idea, but I think they all flew in and out of India together.

The virtual reality was for a sky full of stars for live 2014. I think they're doing it again with this video but i'm not sure.

I don't think they'll do it with this (or any) video. I mean, it's just a music video! Why bother doing a VR experience for a simple MV? They'll more likely do it for a concert.

Virtual reality music videos are becoming a bigger deal, as they should. I suspect this one will be far more entertaining than ASFOS live 2014.

 

The idea is just to put the viewer IN the experience. Sometimes that even means giving the viewer a first person perspective. So maybe in the video you are a little kid running around the festival while Coldplay play music and Chris dances around. It focuses on using wider angles and super "touchy" moments. Imagine playing a video game and running through exploding holi! Sounds fun to me! And could make for a unique video.

 

That director has been tweeting a lot recently about his work with a VR Foster the People video.

PS: I agree.... in earlier photos it resembled MX but now it looks a lot more creative. It reminds of MX on the back and a little bit of VLV but mostly looks pretty creative.
