A friend of mine has told me they have been playing it since the X&Y tour (he was there). And I believe this track came out at 2007 so that would be possible. Maybe they're using it just for its beauty or maybe to show people that after dark times (when they play this song) there can be very colourful moments (the show they're about to give). After my MetLife show i woke up in the middle of the night because it was so hot and these words were stuck in my head ! It just suits the song so well and it's also extremely catchy!! They echoing effect works perfectly too. I wish they had included the speech in the album. Moreover, people was screaming so loud (and so I was) and very excited to see the band for the first time that the first thing that came to my mind was "this person is cheering us up" lol. But, then I came here and I realised that speech is much more meaningful than I thought. now each time I hear it on a live stream it gives me hope and that specific line helps me to keep moving forward. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The two versions sound completely different, and at all 6 of the Coldplay shows I was at (one in Europe, 5 in US) played the version by Miriam Gauci.
